We've kept the old Fantasy Card Review threads that StRiKe NiNjA started over three years ago for posterity's sake. You may still post there if you wish. I know some really like to be part of that legacy. We're also going to make the "Official" Create-A-Card Thread genuinely official and store it here. This forum is set up in mind for those of you who like doing more then one card at a time or to showcase your existing contrivances. If your going to start a new thread or comment on an existing one, please do so within the regular forum guidelines in mind. We would prefer, though it's not a hard and fast rule, that if your only going to create a single card, that you do so in the Fantasy Card Review section, or create a thread for your card reviews exclusively and simply add on to it the next time you come up with one. You may also set up more then one thread if your one of those big thinkers and you've have a lot of cards with differing themes (ex: My Fire Set, DJ's Fiends, etc). Remember, folks are free to comment on your cards, so take constructive criticism in the spirit it is given. Give criticism in the spirit of constructiveness. This forum is a test, so to speak, so play nicely in it, and keep it active. Above all, have a blast! As an addendum, a link to the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker has been added to your Resources drop-down menu in your toolbar. Simply generate the image and save it to your computer. If your looking for a way to host the image, remember that you have a quick way to do so right below your text editor when you post. It allows you to quickly upload an image to Image Shack.
There's a couple of other threads in the "General Discussion (YGO)" area that involve inventing new cards. "What if they remade..." on page 44, for one. Are you going to move them into this area too? I could have a browse for such threads if you'd like. I'm that bored.
You've got too many private messages, DJ. Clear out your inbox. Here's the links I've found. I'm pretty sure they're all of them. I've included threads like your "Card Erratas That (Don't) Make Sense", and others that involve remaking cards (as opposed to creating completely new ones). It's quite amusing to see what people thought up ages ago. http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=6865 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=8420 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=14280 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=14533 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=15291 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=15484 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=19273 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=19752 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=19867 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=19887 http://www.cogonline.net/showthread.php?t=20420
Thank you Maruno. That should get us started. I hadn't figured my old Errata threads would fit, but I guess that I technically did Create-A-Card. Man, I exceeded the my own Inbox limit. How'd that happen?
