We'll start with the next set out, Marvel Knights. I personally believe this is the weakest point of the year. Marvel Knights? I mean, I love Punisher, Daredevil, Elecktra, etc. as much as the next guy, but I don't think they deserve a set this early in the game. Rather, with the next set for DC being Green Lantern, it would be best for UDE to release a Marvel set focused around a similar type of character: Iron Man. Iron Man has been done a great injustice for a while in Heroclix (until Ultimates, that is), and there is so much about him that you could do an Iron Man/Mandarin set.

Next up, around May, we'll have Green Lantern. I cannot wait for thise, mainly because the GL is my favorite comic book hero of all time. I see the makeup of the GL team very simple....you'll have multiple lanterns due to the naming system. For example, you'll get Hal Jordan <> Green Lantern, Jon Stewart <> Green Lantern, etc. I really hope that UDE doesn't make it into an equipment based team, kinda like what Gotham Knights are, because equipment has still not found a viable place on a whole in the metagame. I have great expectations for this set, and I want to see them fulfilled.

In September, we finally get The Avengers. A complimentary team for this set will probably be Masters of Evil, and it will probably be the best Marvel set since Origins. There are so many Avengers, you don't need multiple versions of any of them; I predict a large late-game focus for the Avengers, and perhaps power in numbers.

To cap off the year in November, we get my most anticipated set yet, the Justice League. I sincerely hope they don't mess this up at all, but a very important choice will have to be made: Go with original seven, with others to supplement the drops, or open it up like the Unlimited series? I see a blend between the Spider-Friends and Titans, which will promote both team attacks and defensive prowess.

This year has the looks to be even better than the last. Let's hope it comes true.

Think about it. WoS was a bummer, and I probably won't like MK. And so what if its only 2 sets in between? The title still holds.

No one gives love to WoS. I am hurt i hear nothing but bad things. Its just a different type of team with spiderman.

I love them and have found them effective.

I also am dissapointed with Marvel knights...Come one what is that. It makes it seem like it will be nothing but different versions of cards we already have. We will see. Maybe we will see improvements in the second teir decks.

I don't have a problem with the teams (I think SF is a great deck, and I appreciate SS early game) but the overall set was lacking with only two teams.

I liked MSM. Not the best but it was good. There wasn't a lot for the teams, but they can be very devistating. As for MMK (my guess on naming, you now Marvel: Marvel Knights) they might be good. Blade could be there. and the old teams could get a nice boost. If SS gets a search card, will their really good then arn't they? I hope they don't, not all teams should have search cards, It ruins it when everyone gets wht they want whn they want it. Then DEK (DC: Emerald Knights) that will be good. not just for the boost on AI and F5 (my personal Fav DC teams, oh DE is good too) but because it (like MMK) will have twice the amout of comons. which makes decks cheaper. A lot cheaper. so that's good. Avengers and JL are going to be insane. Expect to see: Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, GL, Aquaman, and hopefully Martian Manhunter. Lol, the Wonder Twins, lol how about them? So, i think this year looks good. especially now that UDE has a handle on the situation.
oh, and after the 4th set (DSM) what do you guys think UDE will do for older teams? will they:
    A. Evenly distribute the new cards, so that each team gets the same amount. (this will give Older teams more cards than newer ones).
    B. Give more cards to the older teams than the newer ones. (making them have about the same amount.) or
    C. Go on a Rotation System. (this means, that they will give a certan set's teams an expansion every [insert time]. sort of like, not givin any DOR teams cards, but instead giving the teams from DSM some. And for marvel, only giving the MSM ones. Then, the next set, MMK and DEK will get expansions.) This will work when they decided to stop making new teams. Which I have no idea how soon is. They will instead just give old teams more cards. Maybe do another set that focuses on two existing teams. Maybe like make an F4 VS Doom set or something. Giving F4 and Doom a huge boost and then just expanding the old ones.
    those are my thoughts.

MSM has had very little impact on the game in general. The set was a mistake, especially them thinking it'd make a good draft set. It's easily the worst draft set, and by FAR the worst investment set. There's only 1 money card in the set, and it's been dropping in value (Bamf!). So far the other three sets all have at least 1 20$+ card, Spiderman can't even really say that anymore as Bamf! seems to have dropped to around 15ish~. If the pricing alone on the set isn't an indicator I don't know what is. It's not like it's bafflingly priced low like Titans rares or something, there's just nothing in the set worth purchasing for a decent amount of cash. I like a lot of the aspects of the set, and they had some interesting ideas, but really the set was pretty terrible and easily the worst of the 4 so far.

Well, I would have to say the reason why Bamf! is dropping in value is because it is team-stamped X-men... and since they are not making a huge push in the metagame, the card is losing value... while Titans seems to be gaining value... and obviously, the new stuff is still up there... The Source will drop off once the new set comes... but I would have to agree, not too anxious about MK... I think it will be another disappointment... I mean, what will their 8 drop be?

There's lots of possibilities for 8 drops, especially considering some of the characters. One could argue Blade could have an 8 drop, I mean he's got all the good points of a vampire and none of the bad ones. But then again Electro probably should have been more than a 2 drop, so who knows what they plan over at UDE. X-Men have made a decent dent in the metagame actually. Heroes United did ok at the PC, and "Going Rogue" did really well. HU ran Bamf!, but obviously GR wasn't. I think Bamf! is dropping mainly because it's not really a necessity and running 4 would be kinda a waste.

The Source won't drop in value for a while, the sets already been out almost a month and it's already showing a high average of 30.74 on find-ccg. That's higher than Savage or HaB!. I really don't see the Superman set decreasing in value til the player-base decides to actually experiment with it and find out what's trash and what's not. As of now, the player-base seems to be content with being lazy and sticking with what's tried and true (ie. Common Enemy, Titans, etc.). I find it disheartening myself to enter tourneys and see the same thing over and over, but you can't really control what the masses do. Hopefully, we'll see in the near future a slew of new deck themes and ideas centering around the various new things in the Superman set, but you never know. The set has the potential to really shift the metagame a lot, or have absolutely no impact at all. I'm anxious to see someone make a Revenge Squad or Team Superman deck running Phantom Zone, that should put Garth on ice.

Yes, the MSM set is not the best, but it deserves more credit. Like you said, people are being lazy. Personaly, I've been messing around with their cards for a while. The reason Supes got more attention was because they had 4 new teams, compared to the 2 "new" teams in MSM. Which, wern't really new because the starter had already been out for a while. I've always like the SS, I focused soley on them for my first couple weeks of playing. Which I highly discourage anyone from doing, it makes you really good at 1 team but weakens your deck building abilities, which is why I mix and match now. I found that they can be devestating. Theres a reason why they didn't get a tutor. Their characters are usually all above the curve. I mean, look at Tombstone. He's a monster. Being the SS, they don't worry about the costs. They just go for it. Which is why teaming up with NG in order to use Prophecy Fufiled is a good plan. They get a tutor, and go scotch free for burning themselves. Solo SS is risky, but can win. You just have to know what your doing. The bonus to playing SS so much is that I've really gotten to know the ins and outs of the team. I've grown too like their archtypes a lot and, have found two really good ones. Rush and K.O. Both are strong points on the SS. Rush is great because you can easily deal tons of damage on early turns. K.O is amazing because the SS has a lot of control. A good bet would be to mix both themes. Go with ruhs and K.O. that way, you can make full advantage of cards like Jackal (which is underated), Venom, Fisk Towers, Mysterio and a very risky card, Get Him My Petsss. Speed Demon would of course be required. This deck type would go up to 4 on the curve. That way, they can use fisk towers. Have mostly 1 drops, a few 2-4. Jackal can be insane. Putting multiple Rhino's is great. So, that is a very solid way to go. Personaly, I like going up the curve and using a beat/control strategy. Taking advantage of cards like Green Goblin, Norman Osborn and Sandman, William Baker at the same time. You don't need many pumps, after all, everyone is already high on the curve. So, not to make this even more longer, don't underestimate MSM. Though I'm not great with Spidey, a lot of people seem to have faith in them. And if nothing else, I can build decks for cheap. lol. ne ways, those are a shortend version of my thoughts.
