    only reason i can think of a number that big to be special is that it is prime

    It is nine digits and all 9 are unique?

    That's all I see. I can't figure out anything else.

    It's an even number... it can't be prime since the only even prime number is 2.

    First I checked to see if it was a square or a prime and it isn't but it actually is an alphabetical listing of 1-9 (eight ... two); there may be something else unique about it but I think this may be what you were looking for?
