some of these cards are quite ancient themselves but there are some new cards that should help more... specifically magicians valkiyra, magicians circle and magical dimension... id replace gemini elf with skill dark magician and add another dark magician mayb to increase the capability of summoning him... warlock is kinda useless imo... you dont have any creature swap abusable cards which is why you should drop them for like book of moon and something... im just giving you a general idea, nothing specific... best thing you should prepare for is monarch so try to avoid dead draw situations as much as possible

Well I do have 2 Magical Dimension. I guess I shall add those in. So do you think I should remove the Creature Swaps then?

And what do you mean by prepare for Monarch and avoid dead draw situations? o.o

the elemental monarchs. Zaborg, Thestalos, Mobius, and Granmorg.

When they hit the field effects activate.

Zaborg = kills a monster on the field.
Mobius = Kills up to two M/T's.
Thestalos = well, I don't know his effect...
    Granmorg = kills a facedown.

As for dead draw, well, I'm as confused as you are. could you explain SirViper?

certainly, btw thestalos makes ur opp discard a card, if its a monster your opp looses 100x the number of stars/level.

Monarch Control is the most common deck played, and even decks now based around monarchs usually have one or two... monarchs are 1 tribute monsters 2400atk/1000def with an effect that activates instantly when they are tribute summoned which is what makes them so versatile... it immedialy creates advantage... dead draws are draws where you say 'oh damn, i cant use this card, its useless in my hand' hence a dead draw... you have alot of cards that mainly benefit from a combo, but when the required pieces arent met, you are left with a dead draw... for example: drawing lightning vortex when you have no other card in your hand, double spell when you have no other spell, kaiser colloseum when you have more monsters on the field... it basically becomes a useless card that you wont be able to play... or if you play it, wont give you the desired results... use more cards that are powerfull on their own and dont relly much on a requirement that needs to be met... i personally think magicians valkiyra is a great card for spellcasters... having two on the field will stop your opp from being able to atk any of your spellcasters... magicians circle is also good... you'd be able to search a desired spellcaster from your deck and instantly special summon it... personally i have always disliked magical merchant... imo, its a horrible card that can waste some very usefull monsters... including 2 exiled and a spirit reaper could come in hand, and having one or two of your own monarchs (such as mobius for example) would improve the effectiveness of your deck... just cuz its a spellcaster deck, doesnt mean that it should be all-out spellcaster.

only if you wanna make a toon deck. I think it's a class two Toon... If it is, I think that means that ToonWorld has to be on the field to summon it. Of course, if you're collecting cards, get it. I can't say I've seen very many of them running around.

Man-Eater Bug?!? Why? Talk about a complete lack of synergy.

Better suggestion: Old Vindictive Magician. It can't destroy anything on your side of the field and is completely searchable by Apprentice Magician too (puts it in Face Down defense). It may look a little CC-ish since many top decks are running the 2 Apprentice Magicians and 2 Old Vindictive Magicians, but since this IS a Spellcaster Deck, you can get away with it.

    - 2 Wabuku
    - 1 Man-Eater Bug

    + Mirror Force
    + Ring of Destruction
    + Old Vindictive Magician

Why stall when you can just destroy.

About the Scapegoats... I don't know how your meta is in your area, but around mine, they love trample damage(fairy meteor crush effect). Might I suggest dropping a Waboku for a Mirror Force, if you have it? If you don't, try some Sakuretsu Armors. to quote Den, "may look a little CC-ish," but it seems like Spellcasters are about field control nowadays.

You have Skilled Dark Magician. That's 1900ATK right there. No point of ever running any of those normal monsters. EVER! Seriously, just run 2x Dark Magician, and 3x Skilled Dark Magician and dump the Gemini Elf and Archfield Soldier and all other crap. Running Apprentice Magician without Old Vindictive Magician is kinda pointless. Forget Mystical Elf, run 2x Gravekeeper's Spy if you want 2000DEF.

well said ^, also if you plan to run magicians valkyira... you might wanna run it in 2/3's stick in there mayb 1 deck devastation virus to mess up with your opp... running rush recklessly will make ur monsters strong enough to handle monarchs and will give you more monsters for ddv... spellcasters are more about control, i think...

I agree with SirViper, you should run Valkyria's in two's at least, otherwise, it'll just make her a very big target. Also, since you seem to have so many effect monsters, have you thought about running a ceasefire? only when it's advantageous for you, of course. Maybe put it in the side deck? other than getting some Old Vindictive's, I don't see much else, til you start playtesting.

Okieday. I shall do so very soon. Another Valkyria may be tricky to get but I'll for sure try to get one. As for the Old Vindictives...anyone got some freebies they'll give me? XD I cannot find those for the life of me XD. And yes, I have a Ceasefire, so I may deck it again since I find that my 2 Kuribohs are not being used very often. Until then, I think I'll build a Side Deck and put Ceasefire in there. Also, I will be trying out Toon Gemini Elf and Dark Elf and I'll see how those work. And my DMG is apparently on its way now! n.n
