I was rather fascinated by the concept of the Gemini monsters, intrigued by the prospect of a monster subtype that combines the best of both Effect and Normal Monsters. However, I didn't like how the Gemini monsters didn't have that coherent of a strategy to them, or that there were no Beast/Beast-Warrior Gemini monsters thus far. So, on a whim, I came up with these guys; these are the Bengals, a series of Beast-Warrior monsters that retain their effects, even if they're treated as Normal Monsters by a card effect.

Earth/Beast-Warrior - Dual
2000/1000
Effect: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field and in the graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, during your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon this card to treat it as an Effect Monster with this effect:
* Once per turn, during either player's turn, select 1 Effect monster on the field and discard 1 Normal Monster with the same level. The selected Effect Monster is treated as a Normal Monster until the end of the turn.

Earth/Beast-Warrior - Effect
1900/200
Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it still retains its effect. If this card is the only monster you control, it can attack your opponent directly. If it does, any Battle Damage it inflicts to the opponent is halved.
Hunter Bengal

Earth/Beast-Warrior - Effect
200/1000
Effect: If this card is sent to the graveyard by a card effect, select 1 Beast or Beast-Warrior Type monster in your hand other than "Hunter Bengal" and Special Summon it. If the summoned monster is an Effect Monster, it is treated as a Normal Monster for as long as it remains face-up on the field.

Light/Beast-Warrior - Effect
100/2300
Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it retains its effect. If an Effect monster your opponent controls targets a Normal monster(s) you control with its effect, send this monster to the graveyard, and that Effect Monster is treated as a Normal Monster for as long as it remains face-up on the field.

Dark/Beast-Warrior - Effect
1850/0
Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it retains its effect. If this card attacks a Defense-Position monster with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of the defending monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to the opponent. In this case, you take Damage equal to half the Battle Damage inflicted during the end of the Battle Phase.

Light/Beast-Warrior - Effect
2500/2300
Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 2 Normal Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type "Tiger" or "Bengal" monsters you control from play. This card cannot be treated as a Normal Monster, or be affected by card effects that require a Normal Monster to activate. Once per turn, you can send 1 Normal Monster you control or in your hand to the graveyard to destroy all face-up Effect Monsters your opponent controls with an ATK equal to or lower than that Normal Monster.
Metropolis Bengalis
Field Spell
Effect: All Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type "Tiger" or "Bengal" monsters in either player's hand, on the field, or in their graveyard(s) are treated as Normal Monsters; if "Tiger" monsters, they retain their effects. If there are more face-up Normal Monsters on the field than there are face-up Effect Monsters, Effect Monsters on the field cannot attack and their effects are negated. If this card would be destroyed, you can send 1 Normal Monster you control to the graveyard instead.
