I agree with alot of what has been said. I think alot of the problem with distribution comes from the number of hands a single product touches from manufacturing till purchase. I have talked to a number of distributors and they have told me that they dont even get their product straight from...
I was thinking the other day about card games and why so few have succeeded. Surely there is more than one reason, but I think a big one is money and the costs associated with playing the game. As a big CCG fan, I have spent thousands on pieces of cardboard with cool pictures on them. Do you...
UDE has responded to some of the feedback they have gotten in regards to the new changes. They are looking into a new form of a PCQ. Will they make enough changes to save the game?
I realize Yugioh was never to include money payouts. I also agree that UDE could have done more to create better prizes for Yugioh. Saying that, Yugioh is tutored to a younger generation where winning prizes or money is not as important as having a cool new card they saw on TV. I stopped playing...
I was a Yugioh player before becoming a VS player and I agree to an extent. UDE never offered the payout for Yugioh like it did for VS. Honestly, I think UDE wanted to steal players away from MTG in hope of creating better competition in the TCG market. They failed, wasted alot of money and are...
It is Origins. UDE is going to run their Mega Weekend at the same time at a different venue so no one has to pay the entry fee to Origins. It looks like they're going to have two "big" events in Columbus. An amateur championship and a team sealed $10K for the release of Worlds Finest.

- Focus more around hobby leagues - making better kits eventually evolving into City Championships
- City Championships will occur 4...
I couldn't agree more. I think I get on myself more over the idea of not winning rather than losing $20 or so. Ever notice how you never seem to play the same once youve made a costly mistake, even if you are still in the hunt? Seems like that mistake haunts you till the tourney ends.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I know I make stupid mistakes from time to time which cost me a win. At PC Atlanta, which was my first PC, I know I made 2 huge errors which led to losses. Those 2 losses put me out of Day 2. I think alot of it was do to the fact of inexperience in big...
Are you on a team? Do you wish you were? If you aren't, how come?
I am part of a team yet to have a name. I like it because it enables more ideas to flow over the table. Often I think I have a great idea that usually becomes tweaked once I show my team. Tell us a little about your team
