What about cards that can only be Set, like Mystic Swordsman LV4? Since he can only be Set, rather than Normal Summoned face-up, how would he be affected by Double Summon if your logic leans toward this card allowing a Set as well as Summon?

You're kidding, right?? I mean, just because they didnt touch any of the support or the monsters themselves, doesnt mean it automatically launches this Deck Theme to Tier 1 Status. If it were stable, it would be more than just a "promising" Deck.

Considering it's a much older card, it could very well be that the language isnt like our current templating when it comes to targeting and non-targeting.

I dont see it as targeting two Monsters. I see it as targeting the intial Monster, and when it resolves, you select whatever monster is still standing on your side of the field.
