if the monster is face up you can use it but if the monster is face down you cant because the monster is sent away with out looking for the stats of the card hope this helps

I belief you can't take prior with Warrior of Zera because it has no effect(it's mazera who has the effect) to tribute one for mazera is a cost and if Trap Hole is activated you can't pay for the cost so you cannot summon mazera

I agree this is the way it would reslove because this al happens before the damage step so if Blast with Chain is in respons to the atk of beserk it would resolve like this so i agree
