Every set has at least 1 legacy card in it for a previous team from a previous set. That's a standard in VS System really with every set that comes out. So yeah, there'll be legacy cards in JLA for sure, but that's not the reason why there is only 4 new teams from the set, there really isn't...

They switch up in number of affiliations per set, that's why I said at least 3, 4 is most likely their target per set as well, but they've had as many as 6 in a single set with the Origins sets and as less as 4 (JLA will only have 4 new affiliations) so it varies.

Yeah, well remember that most stores mark up on their singles, that's why I don't buy from dealers a lot of times unless I absolutely have to (like I couldn't trade for something I thought I could and the dealer has it for a marked up price). I buy all my singles off eBay because of that...

    Need a question answered

Yes, you would still stun, mainly for this reason. Search and Destroy says that as an additional cost you stun the ready army sentinel. This means that Hounds is stunned already when you chain your second Justice, Like Lightening and when the chain resolves your Jolt will get +4 ATK from...

I think blade said before that a playset of Wild Rides will cost you almost 80 bucks. Not really anymore, that was true when the set came out, but now that it's not seeing a lot of play it's dropped down to nearly $20 a playset. You can check for prices on eBay and get them fairly reasonable...

There's more than 33 teams currently in the game with at least 3 more being added with every set. It'd take me all day to list every single team but here are a few that I can think of. X-Men Brotherhood Sentinels Skrull Fantastic Four Doom Negative Zone Gotham Knights Arkham Inmates...

If you need help learning and you don't have anyone around you who can teach you. You can learn how to play the game by: 1. Reading the Basic Rulebook that came with your starter. 2. Then going to http://www.ude.com/marvel and watch the Online Flash Demo they have on the game there...

    What should I review next?

=/, I find it funny that some people like to say that something is in the wrong place, but don't move it when they've got the powers to, *Shrugs*, must I do everything around here? Anyways, this is being moved to the GameCube section. I also went ahead and changed the title of the thread...

Shonen Jump in Washington, DC Next Year

It'd be cool for you to show up there just so we can meet up, ;). I'm sure we could even get Alex to drive down from PA... that would just be scary though, the 3 of us... yeah... lol.

Check this out.... Pojo writer gives us credit!!

Interesting, but I feel like this has been done before, plus my overall view of petitions is that 98% of the time they never solve the problem they're trying to solve. But interesting none the less.

Shonen Jump in Washington, DC Next Year

I'm interested in judging, a few people at Dreamwizards (if they're the TO) will already know me from my judging with Star City in VA, NC, SC, KY, etc. I'll drop you an email, I'm interested in going to the event as long as I have no prior engagements that weekend. But as of right now my...

I could understand the YGO thing a little bit, there is just so many people that want to judge. But VS has a much smaller judge base... I can't understand that one so much, especially when I'm asking for only partial sponsorship to begin with. Oh well, I guess UDE's not so up on supporting...

John should really make the trip East sometime and judge with us here at Star City, I'd definitely request to be put on staff with him, ;). But beyond that I don't think I'd have the capability of judging with him. Mike Guptil isn't too... friendly I guess would be the best word, with me...

Yeah, I've had the chance to meet him at a few VS events before, I think the first time I met him was back in February at a 10K in Columbus, OH and then I saw him again at PCNY. Really nice guy indeed, same can be said about John Williams in that picture, really nice guy and knowledgable judge...

Great pics, thanks for sharing them. I'll try to take some pics on my next trip down to Orlando for the 10K there there in the coming weeks, expect lots of stupid humor from myself and blade146 from here, ;).

Oct. 15th, 2005 Charlotte, North Carolina Regional Event

Like blade, I plan on going to Orlando for the 10K right now. Speaking of which, Don, I need you to contact me, since Justin's situation right now is "iffy" I'd have to give you directions to The Hobby Shop in Wilson so you can meet up with me that Friday night. Hopefully Justin can go...

    Innovation. Totally.

Looks more like a remote control to me, but yeah, it looks pretty awesome and I like the concept. Nintendo continues it's strand of being more innovative than the competition. I might have to pick up a Revolution (and I'll be honest, I never owned a GameCube, so that's saying something).

    Judge fun

Amen brother... amen... I rarely get to sit down and play a VS match these days, and the fact that I judge most of the PCQ's and other premier events in the NC, VA, KY, SC area... just means that I do get interupted a million times during a game when I can finally sit down and relax and play a...
