not that i'm doubting your breadth of knowledge maruno, but has an official ruling been made?
when asked to prove these assertions, i would like to be better prepared than: "it's on the internet"
sorry to be a skeptic, but is there proof of this assertion?
from what i read:King Pyron
Effect Monster (Pyro / FIRE / 5 Stars / ATK 1500 / DEF 500)
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal...
after doing some digging (here: http://www.cogonline.net/threads.48206 and at the ude board), i wonder if there was ever an official ruling given.
correct me if i'm wrong, there's 2 starting scenarios that raises questions.
(note: some of this will probably be my own thoughts as i try to walk...
seems like you have plenty of searchers.
creature swap/mystic box?
plus you can tech that with asura so during the end, they're monsterless(potentially) and you get asura back.
see, that's what i was thinking.
but in the cyberdark text is says equip it to this monster.
IMPLYING that it is treated as an equip card.
it doesn't actually say it is one and thus would not get its effect.
and on a side note:
tp summons the cyberdark.
tp equips pitch-dark dragon
since...
tp uses diamond dude's effect and picks up double attack
Double Attack
Normal Spell
Discard 1 Monster Card from your hand to the Graveyard. Select 1 monster on your side of the field with a lower Level than the discarded monster. The selected monster can attack twice this turn.
since tp gets...
tp normal summons any of the Cyberdark Edge/Keel/Horn
tp equips armed dragon lv3 to his cyberdark machine.
during tp's next standby, he cannot send lv3 to special summon armed dragon lv 5, correct?
a card that people don't find useful, but among friends and our casual play that we've found irritating, is double attack. if you're planning on letting lily hit direct to lp anyway, make her hit twice.
i don't suppose you have the link handy
and *psst* what's iirc ?
i haven't been browsing the new judges forum over at ude ever since they moved it away from mantis.
there is a face up Final Attack Orders on the field.
NTP only has a set Zero Gravity.
TP summons a monster and declares an attack to NTP's LP
NTP activates zero gravity.
zero grav resolves.
tp's monster is put into def, then due to FAO, put right back into attack.
does that attack still go...
i believe so. as you can use the same method to obtain the secondary effects of dark world monsters:
broww/goldd/sillva/RAINBOW, Overlord of the Dark World
re: dark + soul exchange.
oh wow, that's dumb of me to ignore dark's text. color me really dumb.
but as to the discard v send, i thought it was one of those textual things where word choice does matter.
but i'm a little confused.
Morphing Jar #2
Effect Monster (Rock / EARTH / 3 Stars /...
so, i realize "discard/ed" ≠ "sent"
so i'm doing a simple idiot check.
Despair from the Dark
Effect Monster (Zombie / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 2800 / DEF 3000)
When this card is sent from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, Special Summon this card to the field...
