Wrong. Chaos Sorcerer is NOT a nomi monster. Nomi means that a monster can NEVER be special summoned except by the effect/conditions that is/are on the card. Chaos Sorcerer cannot be special summoned when discarded because it is not properly summoned. That does NOT make him nomi.

Well, it was 1 of my favorites in the beginning :) And it's the only card I can think of that has tributing a monster as the last part of an effect.

Yes and no. If a monster is tributed because of your opponent's Share the Pain, then you CAN activate the card ;) If a monster is tribute for a card like Cannon Soldier or for a tributed summon, then you can't activate it because it misses the timing.

You didn't only counter it, you also activate the flip effects and effects that activate when a monster is flipped face-up, so it isn't wasting space at all :P
