Penguin Soldier targets 0, 1, or 2 monsters.
Dark Cat with White Tail targets 3 monsters.
Mystic Box targets 2 monsters.
Just to give you a few examples.
Well Riryoku does target since they talk about targeting Spirit Reaper with its effect (and Reaper being destroyed) but the ruling lists it as the monster whose ATK is being halved so I'd still be willing to say it targets 2 cards the same way that Mystic Box targets 2 cards, the one being...
I avoided answering this because Spell Shield Type-8 says to negate a spell card that targets 1 monster. Riryoku targets 2 monsters. Hence the debate as to which way you want to say. I'd say no because Riryoku does target 2 monsters but it's not like I'll see either in play so I'm not really...
Slither, go check the "new" old judge list (it's on the UDE site before the moved everything again). That is exactly the answer Curtis gave (that they are sent as Continuous Spells). Someone else can link it if they have the time to look for it. This isn't an opinion I was offering, just...
You got it. There has to be at least 1 Harpie Lady / Zombie in the Graveyard for you to use either effect. Of course you could summon the card you discarded for the cost if you wished, but there has to be something there initially.
Because this is a children's card game and the target demographic they go for are the younger players who would love to get a Rainbow Dragon. Ironic that both versions are Secret Rares. Kinda like Jinzo/Tinzo from back in the day. See? There's precedence for this kind of action too.
The 2nd launch is supposed to be
Rainbow Dragon
Volcanic Doomfire
Elemental Hero Plasma Viceman (or whatever it's called in the TCG).
The E-Hero is from Gladiator's Assault if you're wondering.
It would negate Flip Effects as long as the monster is still face up on the field. So if it's flipped up by battle, then yes it would be negated. But if you flip it up manually and then chain Book of Moon to flip it back face down, you would get the effect (again, just like Skill Drain).
If...
Actually, the effect also ends if you pick up a monster that can be normal summoned but cannot be special summoned (such as a Spirit Monster, Gilford the Legend, Victory Dragon, etc.) in which case everything is sent to the Graveyard.
You can set them, but remember you can only activate Normal Spells during your own Main Phase 1 or 2. But there's nothing otherwise stopping you from doing so (in fact, a common technique advanced players do is to set Heavy Storm on their turn hoping to bluff the opponent into setting something...
Look at it this way. You got electronics for cardboard*. Do you really think that's a screw up?
* I presume none of the cards contained the text "SJS(S)-ENxxx" or "EP1-EN000" on there.
I don't quite want to say "old news" since it is at least "official" on the OCG page but at least for the people who "doubted" it before because the info came on a BBS and Geocities pages (as they usually do) at least now you have your confirmation to go with the fact that the TCG list should...
