I figured that Blaze Accelerator is ruled like that because it's a Continuous Spell, so choosing to activate the ability is what puts it on the chain, then on resolution you'd send the monster to the graveyard and yadda yadda yadda. Smarter people than me will probably condradict this though :)

That's why I judge VS and WOW...it keeps me from having to do one thing too many times in a row. It's like crop rotation for your brain.

Can you use Pulling the Rug on a Mobius that is summoned, where the summoner is choosing not to use its effect? My thinking is that you can, because the effect is activating when the opponent makes the choice of how many (0, 1, or 2) Spell/Trap cards to destroy.
