And another short one:

And another short one: "I'll Fly Away"

Remember when we were together,
A fuzzy bear in my pillow,
A diamond wrapped in a band of gold,
A memory of so long ago.

When seasons change, oh for forever,
From summer sun to winter snow,
A heart that's trapped in the icy cold,
A memory of that won't let you go.

When the thought of her still haunts you,
And the touch of him still moves you,
When there's nothing more to do or say,
I'll fly away,
When you're feelings start to break your heart,
And reality tears you apart,
When love has gone all astray,
I'll fly away.

Re: And another short one: "I'll Fly Away"

There is a 10 year gap between the time the 2 were written. But yes, "The Raven's Heart" has much more depth and meaning behind the lyrics. I could almost write a book about that one.

Re: And another short one: "I'll Fly Away"

Why not try to? Might be fun to make a story to tell the tale. I'd like to read it if you do make a story. Maybe I should do the same.

Re: And another short one: "I'll Fly Away"

If there were a *rofl* icon, I'd use it right now.

The "book" I was meaning was the "story behind the story"... and the different meanings about it... (man this is so in the wrong thread).

That being said though, I'd still be laughing because there WAS a story... this was the "love song" from it...
