I have two questions to present to you.
1. If I attack D.D. Assailant with Ryu Kokki, what happens?
2. If Newdoria is attacked by the Bronn dark world monster and he chooses to discard goldd with its effect, can I destroy goldd with newdoria?

1. Ryu Kokki would destroy D.D. Assailant at the end of the damage step, but since D.D. Assailant is destroyed by Damage Calculation, he would remove Ryu Kokki before the end of the Damage Step could be reached.

2. Newdoria is a Graveyard Effect. When Brron, Mad King of Dark World inflicts damage, and destroys Newdoria, it is sent to the Graveyard at the "Send to Graveyard" portion of the Damage Step. Brron's effect is similar to Airknight Parshath, where his effect would activate in the Damage Step, so he would then discard a card to the Graveyard, most likely Goldd or Sillva (you're hoping), and the monster would be summoned during the Damage Step.

So, Newdoria would not have been sent to the Graveyard as of yet, and could chose the newly summoned monster as a target for destruction.

Provided we assume DDA was in fact destroyed. We don't know it was. If it wasn't, Kokki would destory it with Kokki's effect without either of them being removed.

Based upon the information given, there is only one action that can result, and that is D.D. Assailant would be destroyed by Battle Damage after Damage Calculation.

He didnt mention anything about a Waboku or any other effect. Just, "What if I attack D.D. Assailant with Ryu Kokki?"

Sure. but I dont think this is a scenrio based upon a actual duel. More like a "What if" type question.

Of course if you toss in a Waboku, then both monsters will have still "Battled", and Ryu Kokki will destroy D.D. Assailant by his effect at the end of the Damage Step.
