Interesting deck DJ-

Something that I think would fit well in here is a fairy meteor crush, or Big bang shot, or the new H - Heated Heart-- Take advantage of Baseball K's massive atk power and trample them--
 
The thing is, why are you using DNA Transplant when you will be helping your opponent out with Molten Destruction? Just so you can use Hita the Fire Charmer [x2]?

Why not use Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai?

It's a chart I use to map the flow of usability in my decks. I haven't made one in a while, (at least two ban lists ago) but it was nice to return to the old structuring process. I call it a Synergy Flow Chart.

I'll consider it. I'm very fond of my Wabs. But Swords does seem to fit the overall synergy of the deck. I'd only replace a single Waboku, though.

I would like the deck to have more piercing power, as long a it fits into the overall flow. What does H - Heated Heart do, exactly. Is it the same as BB Shot and Crush?

With DNA Transplant, where not looking at a card that I'm desperately going to try to get to the field and keep on the field. It will be something that I use strategically in tandem with Molten Destruction. Is it difficult? Of course it is. But the rewards are worth it in the end, if I gain the proper experience with it.

Kurenai is not bad. I've just not built the deck around "damage at all costs". Fire support seems to be built around desperation. Kurenai, Backfire, Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective, Lady Assailant of Flames, everything has a great or decent effect, but all at the cost of something greater. It's like they are trying to make Fire "just hang in there" against other competitive decks and not stand on it's own as solid. I'm working against that philosophy.



What I'll be working on next is trying to find a way to make Inferno Reckless Summon fit into this build.

Yea, it is similar to them, but its not an equip card. Here I'll force autolink it-- H - Heated Heart.

I see. So it's a one shot deal, but you get to select the paticular turn. I like the 500 ATK boost it gives. I'll have to think on this one. But I'm jotting it down so I don't forget it. The thing about these Synergy Chart built decks, is it makes it harder to construct a Side Deck. But this is definitly going in it, as a starting point. Thanks Atrus.
 
Oh, I just thought of something. Have you considered a Horus line? or with all the chainable traps you have in, how bout a Phoenix?

I have. This time I decide to go with the lesser played Charmers, as they seemed to fit in with the Command Knight/Ultimate Baseball Kid/DNA Transplant thematic I usually follow. Since I didn't get to fully construct or play test v1.0 of this deck, I will probably proxy one of the two and play test both. As a result, a Horus/Phoenix version would be v3.0. Often, my revisions of a deck are not replacements of the old deck, simply an attempt at a different strategy. Looks like I'll be putting my printer work again. :wink_jedi
 
i see your still against the staple policy thingy here... mayb thats why fire hasnt seen the spotlight much... your not brushing it with some of the meta... im now advising in going totally with staples... but there are quite a few that would help you immensely... try rush recklessly and your lacking m/t removal which could hurt alot... i really think that last will would come to be more useless then usefull... your technically only using it for your turtles or the hiita thing... i dont know if going to the distance to pull hiita's effect is worth it... it just gets tramble... why dont you just get an airknight or something strong with tramble and just dna transplant it to fire... thats much easier to pull off...
 
The thing I like about Hiita, is that, even though she has to be Special Summoned to gain her piercing ability, she can still be Normal Summoned or Call-ed. And at 1850, she's not going to rely on DNA Transplant to get a boost from Molten Destruction. Airknight strikes me as being a little too much work (Tribute Monster, needs DNA Transplant to get a boost from Molten) just to get a piercing ability that I'm not necessarily going for and for only 50 more ATK points. Not to mention that Hiita is not all that hard to pull off. Airknight just doesn't have any synergy with the thematic.

I'm not sure what you mean about Last Will being useless. It can summon 18 cards in my deck, and contributes towards the Solar Flare Lock, the Hiita Special Summon, the Ultimate Baseball Kid rush, the Command Knight lock, and just all around field presence. It's extremely versatile in this build.

I'll consider Rush Recklessly, but with all the ATK boosts it seem a wee bit surpurfluous. So far the only cards I'm questioning are Reckless Greed and Terraforming. I'm still torn on the usefulness of Tenkabito Shien.
 
yah i know, remember back then when i was helping fix ur deck, i made my own kind of build... it does have some meta but not tenkabito... i was actually trying out disciple of the forbidden spell... with one in the grave and dna transplant... i can kill off any fire monster... you could also try elemental absorber combined with dna transplant... the reason i find last will useless is its requirement to pull, not what it can grab... im assuming your gonna run your turtle into a monster for double search... having last will only to pull off with only 3 ufo turtle may not be worth your time... why not just let ur opp waste on of his atks on it... besides if ur opp kills ur turtle with a trap you dont get the other search, so you'll only have 1 guy out there without the other to lock (im reffering to solar flare or command knight)... the only reason hiita doesnt seem appealing is for its requirement to pull off... first you need the charmer then another fire monster on your side... prefferably not your own... something dna transplanted and controlled from your opps side... so much cards and resources for a monsters that can die quickly... you need transplant, the control thing... charmer... min. 3 resources for it... unless your willing to give up your own fire monster, which would kinda be desperate... you could try thestalos... hes pyro... he'll help solar flare out... he'll knock off a card from your opp... hopefully score some dmg if its a monster and with a 2400 atker he can do quite alot of dmg, especially with molten destruction... rush reckless was only an idea if you had 1 monster and needed to bring its partner out... rush would help you last in battle for the turn...
 
I actually have a few options for pulling off Last Will. The Charmer gets me a double search as well. That is, IF I decide to use her for a Familiar search. Remember, Hiita doesn't have to be Special Summoned through her effect. That requirement is only to get her piercing ability. She can still be Normal Summoned and is still an 1850 ATK monster, or 2350 with Molten Destruction out. (I also like the fact I can pull her from the Deck) It's a strategical thing. I can also use it in tandem with Ultimate Baseball Kid and get either a rush or a boost depending on what I want to do. It can keep me field presence if I need to (or have to) get rid of Infernalqueen.

I've tried Thestalos. He's got a fine effect and all. He just doesn't do it for me. His hand control effect is pretty much meant for a deck that's trying to get some hand control or some Life Burn. He supports a different theme, and he and Solar Flare Dragon have proven to be one of the weakest field presences in my experience. You'll notice I've scaled back on the tributes. I prefer the high attackers with the least amount of costs. Incinerator is only in there because he can still be Special Summoned through Call. Plus, he could very easily pull off a quick win using the right tactics.

I'm a little reluctant to put in anything non-Fire at the moment. DNA Transplant is only there for strategical purposes, so I'm not counting it being there all the time. Disciple is interesting, but strikes me as a dead draw if I pull them all and can't get any in the Graveyard. I don't really have a lot of ways of dumping cards in the Grave quickly. Though I do like the element angle. Maybe something along those lines might fit in better then Tenkabito. Haven't had chance to try him out yet really.

I'm considering putting in a Unity in place of either Reckless Greed or terraforming. Maybe even a United We Stand.
