with those Diamond Dudes in there . . i would seriously consider cards like Monster Reincarnation . . .cards with a cost, but a killer effect, , , that way you get the effect but not the cost thanks to Diamond Dudes clever effect

The main objective is to not abuse avoiding a cost. It is to gain advantage through simple effects which would not matter if you were to draw them into your hand. For example, if you were to reveal Confiscation with Diamond Dude's effect, it would be perfect to generate advantage, while skipping the 1000 cost. But if I drew Confiscation into my hand, it wouldn't matter too much at all as I can still use it without losing much in return.

Other ideas I had for the deck would be:
- D.D. Warrior Lady
- Freed the Brave Wanderer (With Thunder Dragons... could work)
- Magical Merchant (Dumps monsters into grave and increases percentage of drawing into magics)

That's actually the safe-bet way of playing Diamond dude. Playing cards like Brain Control or Confiscation without the cost. Not too sure about Upstart Goblin, the 1000LP gain of your foe is not a cost BTW. Also not sure about Extermination while running Saku also.

The Upstart Goblin is just there for raw card advantage when it is milled through Diamond Dude. I don't intend on skipping the increase in life points ;) Good point about the Nobleman of Extermination and Sakuretsu Armors though... I might change the trap line-up to accomodate it, maybe reducing Sakuretsu Armor to 1 and increasing Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute.

Any other suggestions?

Yeah, Torrential and I would actually recommend Widespread Ruin for alternative for Saku. Saku is pretty much the goal of what you want to hit with Extermination, and thus Widespread Ruin can be a good alternative. And yeah, cause of Extermination, I would keep the trap line-up low. Heck, you might want to throw in 1x Royal Decree if your trap line-up is gunna be low. Low Traps with 1 random Decree can work ya know. Of course, the prob with running Royal Decree is the obvious Treeborn Frog being stuck.

A suggestion of Traps

5x Traps
Mirror
Ring of D.
Torrential
Widespread Ruin
BTH or Saku or Royal Decree

And it's a silly suggestion, but maybe even a 1x Lightning Vortex for fun. You do have Thunder Dragons to cut down the discard cost. (But IMO, probably a sidedeck.)
