Well, this is the first and only deck I have. Most of the cards were given to me from my friends and others I bought. I then finally had enough to make one.

I think this deck is not that bad but when it comes to facing my friends i get beat like there's no tomorrow. The problems I have with this deck is that when I try to a combo(for example: Dark Magician and Dark Magic Attack) my monster is destoyed or out play. Another is when I have no useful cards when I first draw(all monster or spell/trap cards).

Could somebody help fix my deck?

Oops. I'm sorry I made the other threads. I kept getting a message that there was one already made. Do they closed done be themselves or is there an option to close by myself?

Lets see. Since this is your first deck then I'm going to assume you have access to limited resources for the time being. When you get into the game full swing there will be no trouble haggling for most if not all of the cards you need.

First off, the very first thing I see is the number of Tribute Summon Monsters. In most cases 5 is a little excessive. The reason being is that they are costly, requiring a 1 for 1 trade from the field. Scaling back on these will improve your first draws and prevent bad "top-decking". (Which is a term you may have already heard. It refers to when you dra a card and whether its a useful card or if it's just something thats going to sit in your hand meaninglessly).

To scale back, pick out the focus you want for this deck. Mobius the Frost Monarch is an allaround useful card that you'll see quite often. There's very few deck types that he doesn't fit in. Dark Magician on the other hand is a very specific deck type, if you want to build one that works. He has all kinds of support, but might not work the ay he should in a deck running Horus. I personally think that you should focus on the Horus aspect of your deck and scale back to Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, 1 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 and Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast (He's less of a drawback in your hand if you have no monstes to offer as tribute and you despreatly need some thing to block your Life Points this turn.) For now, I suggest dropping the Buster Blader just because the other cards have a bit more synergy for the moment and to minimze bad draws.

The next thing I would suggest is to replace them with nothing. This will scale your whole deck back to less cards. When just strating out, it's always a wise idea to stick as close to 40 cards as possible. Even most veterans swear by 40 cards. Very few player (like me for example :D) play the 40+ decks, because they require a ridiculous amount of card knowledge and an even greater deal of gaul. LOL :D

That's my input for the moment. I'll let the Horus Pro's chime in on where to scale back and create more structure with your support and non-tribute monsters. Honestly, your line-up of monstes doesn't look all that bad. It's more then likely be your Spell line-up, the amount of Tributes and the slightly high card count that are causing a lot of your bad draws. Other then that, you appear to be on the right track.
