Deck out

I have been working on a deck out deck for a while now and has won me matches and got me in top 8 twice in my local tournament and 77 out of around 180. I know there are alot of cards in the deck but that does not bother me because it takes a while for them to beat me, and i draw the cards that i need when i need them. what can i do to make this deck better besides making it a smaller deck. Side deck should consist of a bit of anti-facedown.

maybe a few Mid-Shield gardna or Big-Shield Gardna.

but main deck, it looks like there are alot of useless stuff. Its like you were trying to Hybrid the CCM stuff with the Mill Stuff.

If I were you, I would trow out all thouse cards on a table. Seperate them by types. Deck-Out, Recursion, Support, etc..

then start taking out what you need and dont need.

You will feel like you need everything, but if you look at your strategy the point that you want is to deck out the opponent as soon as possible.

so preaty much in the end how itll look is.

2x Serial Spell
2-3x Level Modulation [ You may think like, What the heck, but Use cards like Mystic Swordsman Lv 6 with this so that your opponent can keep drawing.]

Hand advantage wont mean a thing if the point is to deck them out.
 
Where are the Chainsaw Insects (x3)???!!! They're not only a GREAT defense (in ATK mode), but they force your opponent to draw a card for everytime it does battle. Plus they most likely will not get hit by Smashing Grounds. (unless they're the only card on the field)

Doom Dozer is decent, but too specific. (unless you're going to add some insects)

Simultaneous Loss is alright since you both lose the top card from your deck to the GY.

You should have x2 Nobleman of Crossouts not only to remove powerful cards from the field but from play, so they can't reuse them with Pot of Avarice.

Then there is the "old school" Gravekeeper's Servant. (your opponent must send 1 card from the top of their deck in order to declare an attack)

Then there is always Drop Off, but that's not too helpful.

You can, but what will happen is Serial Spell will have to be chained directly to Card Destruction. You'll "Discard all the cards in your hand to the Graveyard..." as a cost for Serial Spell. Cost are payed before the effect your paying for is added to the chain.

So when Serial Spell goes to resolve, your hand will be empty and your opponent's will not be. He'll discard his entire hand and draw the same number. You wont. Then when Card Destruction resolves he'll discard and draw again. You still won't because your hand is still empty.

yea, cause you potially give your opponent more than what they need.

If the trend of using 19-25 creatures goes then you will defently give them what they want.

You do want them to have something, but not something that will kill you.
 
this is the deck i am going to use this weekend at the local tournament. I will adjust the deck if it does not go well to the other ideas that are posted.

Some of the side deck cards like Don and Bistro are just to see how they would work out take out both Chainsaws and put them in instead. Self-Destruct Button and Wall of Revealing Light is for the 2nd in the series only if i win the first one other than that you get the idea for that combo (a win is a win any way you look at it) and then for the rest just a filler up since i dont know what to put in my side deck. Thanks for all the input and i will post how i did tomorrow night.
 
No tournament

There was no tournament at the local card shop due to Regionals in Fort Worth. I made some changes in the side deck.
