Flaming Soul Control

I haven't put this deck together yet, but I've been toying with designs for it for a couple of weeks now. It's kind of a hyrid of a Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi deck and a Soul Control deck. Just looking at it and comparing it to my current Soul Control deck, I think it should work pretty well, but I'd be interested in hearing your input, especially if you have experience with Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, which I don't.

Creature Swap in the side deck though? What is it you would plan to give away other than Tsukuyomi or Sangan?

The primary targets are UFO Turtle, the Stray Lamb tokens, Sangan, and Tsukuyomi. If I have just attacked with Hino, and the opponent still has a monster, I guess I could also Swap it over. Morphing Jar is another possibility in certain cases, as is Flame Ruler. But the main idea here is to swap them a UFO Turtle, attack it, pull Flame Ruler, then sac it during their battle phase for Hino or Phoenix (assuming that Ultimate Offering is out).

anthonyj: The Soul Exchanges are mainly for use with Mobius, although I don't see anything wrong with setting Hino on my turn, especially if their Nobleman is already gone. It still gets its effect if they attack it, although obviously they would have a chance to set any spells and traps in their MP2. (Hence the 3 copies of Giant Trunade.) Probably wouldn't do it unless I had something like a Bottomless Trap Hole to set behind it, though.

With Nobleman of Crossout limited to one using Soul Exchange to in addition to one of your own monsters to set Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi isn't a bad move, I've done it numerous times. It also set your opponent's mind to wondering what the heck you've just put face down that is a two tribute monster....I've seen people attack them just to find out what the heck it is! <laffin> ....in that case, it's still battle damage and does the job it set out to do.
