I love to Burn!!!!!

Your monsters look good. But your defenses could be wee bit stronger. I strongly suggest running at least three Wabokus. There's just no substitue for this card and its chainablilty. Add that on to the three Threatening Roars and you've got a trmendous advantage with even just one Solar Flare Dragon on the field. Not to mention, your running Lava Golem. If you defenses are only moderate, then Golem is a hugh risk.

I would also suggest putting the sided Solar Flare Dragon in your Main Deck. Your far more likely to get a lock with three in your deck as opposed to just two. Maybe side out Cannon Soldier for now and drop the Kozaky's Self-Destruction Button.

Personally, I dont feel like Tsukuyomi has a place in this deck. I know your trying to Recycle those Des Koala's and your Morphing Jar, but Tsukuyomi diminishes your field advantage, which, in burn, needs to be strong.

I would also advise, to help add some strength to the build, to remove the Des Wombats and add in Gravity Binds. Switch either, Messengers or Level Limits from your Main Deck with these added in Gravity Binds. (Any combo you wish) I know everyone is thinking about Royal Decree and Jinzo these days. But what people are totally forgeting about is the inordinate number of monsters that can attack right under Spell Cards. You need a good combination of both to keep your defenses balanced.

And since your not running the Dark Snake Syndrome combo, the Wombats don't really don't combo with much other then Torrential Tribute.

Now here's something I've suggested to burn players before, and the beatdown players disagree with me. But a Burn Deck should run more defensive Trap Cards to support the burn of your monsters. And fewer of the Spell you would see in most decks. I feel like folks want to run the staples in burn when they really don't have the synergy with cards in a Burn Deck that they do with other deck types.

Go for more defensive traps as opposed to Enemy Controllers and graveyard recursion. Bottomless Trap Hole is my number one suggestion in that regard right next to Gravity Bind. Lava Golem will be less of dead draw if you have a set Bottomless that's been there for turn. Suddenly Lava Golem becomes a field clearer in combo with Bottomless and theres nothing your opponent can do, save for a trap negator.

Aside from that Id say remove some of the Side Deck stuff that your not really using to make room for the others. But of course, these are only suggestions. You can tell I've run burn for looooong time. ;)

Hmmm... valid points all.

Three Waboku really sounds intriguing. I'll try it out.

I suppose I could fit in my 3rd solar flare, couldn't I?

And Tsuku isn't just for-- oh, who am I kidding? I didn't think Tsuku was a good fit. Someone else suggested it on another board.

The Binds found their way out of the deck. Perhaps I don't need Torrential and Tornado.

And I've thought of BTH in relation to the Phoenix. I didn't care about using it on my Golem. I'll consider it.

'You can tell I've run burn for a looooong time.' And it shows.

Thanks. :)

Yeah I forgot about that. Bottomless is Phoenix's worst enemy. I can't tell you how many times I've been cussed out for removing her from play. :p

 You're telling me that I shouldn't be worried about other Burn decks at all? That doesn't make any sense.
The thing is, how many things can you put into your side deck to put other burn decks on the run successfully? Not much really. Some of these burn decks go for speed, so against another burn deck, deflection may get you a couple of 1000 point deflections. But not much. And if they have sided out all their defensive traps for more burn then what you'll be running into is Effect Hit after Effect Hit and your only able to deflect one to two shots.

Nightmare Wheel's are a Burn decks WORST enemy (and best friend if your running it). Which is why I've said nothing about your Dust Tornado or MST. If your the controller of Nightmare Wheel and your opponent has a Balloon Lizard on the field collecting counters, let that fool get as big as he can, all the while his controller is taking 500 Points every Standby Phase. If your opponent has a Solar Flare Dragon out on the field, let him reconsider the benefits of keeping him out there while your both taking 500 each of your turns. If he has a Stealth Bird out there putting a hurt on you, pin that Bird to the ground with a Nightmare Wheel and make him take some of that pain. It's not an equip so if he uses Stealth Bird's effect to flip it face down he's still out of luck.

There's a physiological game that goes on when two Burn Players face each other. And what I try to do is to make the other player reconsider every thing he has in mind. I know this because I've had it done to me so many times. And I was maneuvered into making bad plays. Nightmare Wheel will contribute to that psychology and make him reconsider his game somewhat.

Most Burn Players when they see another Burn deck coming. Side Out the defensive stuff and Side In more damaging burn. I try to do that as well, but I preer to make it something that will stimey them a bit more then just deflecting a little damage.

What I've run into when running a burn deck without a couple of Dust Tornados in the side deck is someone siding out and putting in three Wave Motions agaist me...they got to their's first and out burned me! <laffin>
