Howdy, something occurred to me, and I was wondering if you could clarify for me exactly how Gladiator Beast Darius's effect works.
Looking at the ruling for him saying [When "Gladiator Beast Darius" is flipped face-down, its effectdisappears and the effects of the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast"monster are no longer negated] I was wondering if it would be possible to use Book of Moon on Darius after he summons Gyzarus to the field to avoid him negating the 'destroy two cards' effect.
Apologies if this exposes my ignorance of Yu-Gi-Oh mechanics, but my line of thinking is that Darius's effect is similar to Skill-Drain in as much as you can still activate effects, but they won't do anything while being negated by the card, however since Darius goes face-down before Gyzarus's effect resolves it could resolve fully and destroy 0/1/2 cards. Am I at all thinking clearly with this? I'd really appreciate clarification either way. Cheers!
