I'm having a little trouble with Gattling Dragon. Does his Effect target at resolution or activation?
The difficulty I'm having is that it seems awkward to target three Monsters at activation when perhaps only 1 or 2 are present, especially since destruction is not guaranteed (this isn't a problem with Blowback Dragon for example, because there is one target only).
Does each coin flip target a different Monster at activation? Or do I simply choose what to destroy after the flips?
Thanks,
~ENM

Answer:
"Gatling Dragon's" effect does not target.
When you activate the effect you do not choose any monsters to potentially destroy. It isn't possible to determine how many will be destroyed because this requires the coin flips that will not occur until resolution.
The monsters, if any, are destroyed after you perform the coin flips. The coin flip results will determine how many monsters are destroyed and then you will destroy monsters accordingly.
Even if you only manage to destroy 1 monster, the effect is still not targeting.
