It's good to know that truly awful movies are a universal thing. For a while there, I thought Mexico was the only place that made awful films. It appears I was mistaken:

No this is not a joke. This movie was made in all seriousness, though probably illegally.

Japan, America, and China (I mean the whole group of Chinese-speaking countries, since I can't tell whether a Mandarin movie is made in China or Hong Kong or Taiwan) make some bad movies too.
 
A badly made Kung-Fu flick will still trump a badly made Mexican Shoot em up any day. And American films aren't as bad as they once were, nor as bad as Mexican Cinema still is. For some reason, I can't seem to find a film that isn't doesn't involve a bunch of rancheros in cowboy hats shooting at another group of rancheros in different colored cowboy hats.
