Hello everyone, im trying to find someone, a Level 3 Judge precisely... see I have a trip up to USA next month, Massachussetts to be exact, ill be there for about 4 - 5 months.

I want to finally take my L3 Exam, and this can be my opportunity to do it. So if there is a L3 Judge from Massachussetts, knows one or at least lives near by, please let me know... and if there is a sanctioned event near by that you know about, please let me know, any help will be appreciated.

A Level 3 cant test you Slither. You have to take the test from a Official UDE Representative. Level 3's can only test down, not same.

You'l have to try to catch a SJC, or somewhere that will have somene like Ian Estrin present. I believe he is frequently on the East Coast.

Ahhh shoot kk, thanks for the info woo0, ill try to contact someone or find out about an SJC :D, thanks again for the help.

Hopefully i'll become a L3 O.O

Hey Slither,

Just to let you know, there are some LV3 YGO Rules judges that are able to give you the LV3 YGO Rules test without a UDE official present.

The only one I can think of in that area would probably be Dave Brent (but he's been really busy lately) or John Williams (the head judge at the most recent SJC Philly).

Now I can't speak for John, but I'm sure before he gives you the test, he would like to see what kind of judging & tournament management experience you have in order to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the test.

If you can't get a hold of John, I guess when I'm in the North Carolina area (for my SJC...next year sometime), I could give you the test...but I would need you to actually volunteer to staff the event. I better let you know I'm very strict in my criteria in determining candidates for LV3 testing (just like my PTO), so I need to see if you possess the correct mindset that a LV3 YGO judge should have before I would be willing to test you.

EDIT: Hmmm...I misread your post....looks like you have a very limited timeframe on when you will be in the New England area. SJC Boston is on Sept 16th & 17th; will you be in town then? If you can make it (or better yet....volunteer to help with the event), then I'm almost positive you will have an opportunity to take the test.

In any event, I wish you the best of luck !!!

Thanks for the input there Simon!!! North Carolina ummm, I might be able to drop by (not for sure)... as for being part of the staff (if I can make it), id be honored to do it.

SJC Boston, well im hoping I stay around 4 - 5 months on the US, so ill probably be around those dates :D, thanks for the info.
