In addition to a normal attack, this card can attack during the same Battle Phase as many times as the number of Equip Cards equipped to it.

After activation, equip this card to a face-up monster. The equipped monster gains 300 ATK and DEF. When the equipped monster attacks, it gains additional ATK, during damage calculation only, equal to half the ATK of the attack target.

If I have Metalmorph equipped to Ben Kei does his continuous effect allow him another attack? I think not, since Metalmorph doesn't say it is treated as an Equip Card but want to be sure.

Metalmorph is still Equipped to Ben-Kei, so it does count.

Only one kind of card has the "equip" functionality, and that's an Equip Card. Anytime you see a trap say that, it means that it becomes an Equip Trap Card after activation.

so once it becomes an Equip Trap Card does it count for Ben Kei's effect since he's just counting "Equip Cards" and not specifically "Equip Spell Cards"?

"Equip Cards" means both Equip Spell Cards AND Equip Trap Cards. Basically it means "any cards that's equipped". So yes, Metalmorph does count for Armed Samurai - Ben Kei.

Thanks and thanks all for bearing with me... I just bought two PTDN packs today and pulled Dark Armed Dragon from one and Cyber Valley in the other... and was thinking of trading DAD and then thought about building a Red-Eyes B. Dragon deck with him... and then toyed with adding Ben Kei and Metalmorph and Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon for fun.
