I once got so badly beaten by a Monarch Deck that ran 3xDH Diamond Dudes, 3xDH Malicious and 3xDestiny Draws that IMO every Monarch Deck should include them, emphatizing speed and destruction.

Furthermore, if you try this version out, I'd base on Monarch ONLY (no Vampire Lords f.ex.), and put more of them in :)
 
maybe drop vampire lord and something else for 2 raiza the storm monarch, setting your opponent back a turn can be very useful and alot of times can ensure a direct attack while knowing nothing new can be played
 
speed is what makes monarchs be very good. but d-hero is kinda risky and exspencive. so check my build and if you have no malius then try these

apprentice magician
peten the dark clown
vandictive magician
giant rat build

i use rat build cause it can deck thin like crazy.
giant rat = pyramid turtle = v-lord so much you can do.
