My variant on a CC...

Here is the deck I have been playing with for about 2 months now. It survived 2 Regionals, and almost gave me a Top8 at one.
First thing most will notice is I run a lot of cards in triplicate form, that is my style. Secondly, I do not like Mobius, he is Side Decked for Stall decks only.
I believe that the Side Deck is what needs the most focus, that is my main purpose for posting, so any help would be great. :smiley_je

I'm pretty certain it's spelled "variant". :p

I think 3 reapers is one too many in this deck. I understand about the 3x thing - it's my style, too - but, without any tributes, do you really need that much cheap field presence? I'd drop one for something a little more . . . aggressive. RANDOM TECH OF THE DAY: Gearfried the Iron Knight. Strong ATK, fits the warrior theme, immune to many control cards and crippling things like Flint.

I don't really "get" the sidedeck. I can't tell if you're addressing certain weaknesses of the deck such as vulnerability to topdecking, or trying to take a pre-emptive strike against your opponents' possible strategies. Usually, for sidedecks, I prefer the latter. Things like Kinetic Soldier and Magical Blast that can stop other decks dead in their tracks.

Thanks for the spelling fix. I couldn't spell my way out of a wet paper bag....:eek:o

The triple reapers are in there for field presence, and hand control. I kinda have this hate thing for Tribute monsters--- I always seem to Topdeck them when I need a Dark Hole.

The Side Deck is created for 2 reasons: 1.) When they side in more S/T destruction because of my R. Decrees or when they side out their traps; I side in my traps. Time Seal is in for the chainablility against Mobius etc. 2.) To help me out in mirror matches, or to give me a different approach to beat my opponent---Flip Flop, or Burn, which serves a End of Game procedure win condition.

i'm not the best person to help u with ur side decks but the dekoichi just seems out of place to me only cuz if i don't main deck dekoichi then i wouldn't really side deck it

very good point, but the reason Dekoichi is in there is because he gives me a another to use w/ Tsuki when I side in my Flip-Flop option. I had 2 in there before, but I opted to drop one for a Mask of Darkness--to further abuse of Time Seal

I get what you're saying, and I'm thinking -3 Time Seal, +3 Waboku. After all, they're equally chainable against Mobius, Heavy, etc. And they'll give you a much better chance of actually pulling off a flip-flop.
