Wouldn't it be cool if you could get the 4-drop Doctor Doom and the 6-drop Doctor Doom both on the field at the same time? That would mean that you would lock the opposing player from playing plot twists all together! Here are the cards that can make it happen:

DJL-174 - Crisis on Infinite Earths
Ongoing: Characters you control, as well as cards in your hand, KO'd pile, and deck lose all team affiliations, have the Crisis affiliation, and cannot have any team affiliation other than Crisis.

Character cards you own are not unique.

Whenever you recruit a character, KO all characters you control with both the same name and version as that card.

Another thing that you failed to mention is that after you play the 6-drop Doom you'll have to get rid of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Main reason being is that you can't utilize the 4-drop/6-drop Doom effects if you don't control another "Doom" character. Since Crisis changes all your characters to the "Crisis" affiliation, you won't be able to use Doom's effects. So basically you have to find a way to KO Crisis on turn 6 after dropping Doom. Which really isn't that hard in this game, there are plenty of cards out there to help you with that.
 
Except that Crisis strips everyone of their Doom affilliations and their powers won't kick in...
 
"Have a Blast" comes to mind.... I can't think of another card that doesn't make you go down a resource and doesn't require a discard.
 
Or you could just stick with the old Doom/League Dual Nature trick << Ya, know, have the 6-drop Doom and 5-drop Bane, Ubu out. Stun Bane somehow, play Dual Nature, KO Bane, Ubu, pull 4-drop Doom. It avoids uniqueness. But you have to be teamed up at the time.
