No VS RONIN?

After Gencon, I decided to take a larger interest in VS. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything about certain cards, or how the game has progressed. I learned how to play by demo, but that tells me nothing of the meta, what types of decks are out there, what kicks ass, what cards are most desirable, etc.

And I was looking for some ruling source so I could take the VS. judge test, but there is no RONIN for VS. Can anyone lead me to some sort of source like this? Just something to help me understand rulings in VS and how certain game mechanics work?

Thanks to anyone who can help. I really appreciate it.

The thing is, there are no individual card rulings (or not enough, at least) to justify a VS version of RONINâ„¢ at this time. That may change in the future.

The comprehensive rules of the game, however, can be found at www.ude.com/op under the rules link in the side menu.

Yes it would be cool if a VS RONIN were to exist sometime in the future. Anything is possible I suppose so yeah.

I think VS would benefit from a deck studio type application more than a RONIN application. The RONIN application is great for Yu-Gi-Oh due to its incredibly large amount of rulings. No other TCG game that I have seen has so many card rulings. Even Pokemon that has been around much longer than Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't have even a fraction of card rulings compared to Yu-Gi-Oh. There currently aren't enough card rulings in any other card game including VS that would warrant an application like RONIN.

It is my hope, if things will work out as projected, that Deck Studioâ„¢ Pro will be available around March 2006 (or earlier). At that point"” again, if all will just go as originally planned, though who knows right now"” VS would certainly be a possibility that could be available.
