I didn't see one, so I made one.

Hope this is okay? :D

I went to sneak peak today with 1 goal.

Treeborn Frogs.

I didn't enter sneak peak, and I did not plan on buying anything.

As soon as sign ups started I hid in the Sneak Peak room, children eventually filled the room to the brim and opened their packs.

I skimmed around getting Treeborn Frogs. Not really pulling but I -got-:

Treeborn Frog (R) x8
Treeborn Frog (ULT) x1
Princess Pikeru (ULT) x1

:D

Then after the regionals was over, my brother got some packs and opened them.

Got another Princess Pikeru.
Excelion or whatever.
And that's about it.

I <3 Treeborn Frogs.

Normally I shy away from Ultimate Rares, but when I saw Treeborn Frog in Ulty form I had to have it. In fact, I got 2 of them. And I didn't even touch a pack of cards either.

2 Treeborn Frog
2 Proto-Cyber Dragon
Divine Dragon - Excelion
Ruin, Queen of Oblivion
Demise, King of Armageddon
Damage Condenser
and some other lower rares like Karma Cut, Goblin out of the Frying Pan, Doom Dozer. Not too shabby for not entering sneaks/drafts or anything of that nature. And I still got an Ancient Lamp from trades too. :D

Not that I have anything against trading at Sneak Preview's, but people who are not there for either the Regional or the Preview should not be allowed in the Area at all.

There is already enough thefts and natural losses as it is, and people who arent part of what's going on for the day (excluding Parents), should be minimized, as they only have one thing in mind. It's very distracting to have someone constantly trying to do a trade with you and they have the time to do so because they arent affected by time or what cards they "pulled from their packs".

Most stores I have played at do not even allow open trading unless you are a paid entrant. My TO as well forbids it at her store, and does not allow people who are not involved in the Preview to trade with Tournament Players.

Hard to control, yes. But nonetheless, there is a reason to do it, even if you only get 2 out of 5 people removed. Pay your money like everyone else, or wait outside for someone to eventually come along.

Im not trying to sound unfair, but when you have some young player come up to you and tell you that he just lost his best cards (whether by bad trade, theft or scam), and you find out that the person who took them was someone who wasnt even registered to play, really fouls up the works.

I suppose I'm going to get a thumb on the nose for this one....
but I pulled....well, everything <g>

I didn't take any comp. for last week's regional and doubled up this week after judging the Sneak.

It looked like more people had success with the loose packs than I had with my Box. I did get at least one Treeborn Frog though, but everything else is left to be desired...

Holos
Cyber Laser Dragon Ultra Rare
Princess Pikeru Ultimate Rare
Divine Dragon - Excelion Super Rare
Ruin, Queen of Oblivion Super Rare
Phantasmal Martyrs Ultimate Rare
Ancient Gear Castle Super Rare
Damage Condenser Super Rare

Rares
Proto-Cyber Dragon
Karma Cut
Memory Crusher
Princess Curran
Chainsaw Insect

Just a few notables.

Hello all !!!

Here's what I got from my packs at the Sneak Preview in Louisville, KY:

2x Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder (Ultra Rare)

3x Divine Dragon - Excelion (Super Rare)

3x Ancient Gear Castle (Super Rare)

2x Malfunction (Ultimate Rare)

2x Damage Condenser (Super Rare)

2x Ruin, Queen of Oblivion (Super Rare)

1x Demise, King of Armageddon (Super Rare)

1x Phantasmal Martyrs (Ultimate Rare)

1x Princess Curran (Ultimate Rare)

1x Proto-Cyber Dragon (Ultimate Rare)

1x Adhesive Explosive (Ultimate Rare)

1x Cyber Barrier Dragon (Super Rare)

Unfortunately for me, I didn't pull an Ultimate Rare Treeborn Frog...but hey, you can't get everything. (At least in my case anyways)

Hope everyone else had good pulls at their Sneak Previews !!!

<laffin> Legendary luck has always accompanied my youngest son...so much so that people plead for him to sit close or bless their packs whenever they open them and to be present when they duel.

The legend continues as he attended his first Sneak....casual play...first pack...Ultimate Rare Treeborn Frog <laffin>

Over the two day event, I managed to get the entire non-ultimate set except for Raviel (the cover art monsters have always managed to escape me). I did pull an ult. Treeborn Frog as well, which was a pleasant suprise. Overall, I like the flavor of the set a lot, but there aren't many tournament viable cards. The Sacred Beasts make great eBay fodder I guess.

*sticks thumb on Mr. Danker's nose*

ROFLOL! Bet you weren't expecting THAT, now were you? :p

Hmm... Congrats?

Out of 6 packs, I got:

1x Cyber Barrier Dragon - traded it for Demise, King of Armageddon

1x Uria, Lord of Searing Flames

Not bad for six packs. Especially since I pulled the Uria out of my last pack for going 3-3 in the tourny. It made my day.

Trades were the real story:

Picked up an Enemy Controller, Reflect Bounder, Dark Magician Girl, Goblin Elite Attack Force, Gold, Warlord of Dark World. Also sold a Cyber-Stein Rare and a King Dragun Super for $17.

Not a bad day overall, though I would've liked a better record in the tourny.

I didn't realize we didn't have an Offcial Pull Thread for SOI. So with a minor name change and a push pin...

I would have very well entered the sneak peak.

But 550 people ended up attending.

The judges were fine with me and my 25 dollars unspent, trading. They only accepted 100 or so people into the sneak peak. I would have entered regionals but my deck wasn't finished. I had fun trading though. Oh! And I almost forgot

I found 2 Ancient Lamps on empty tables in their little books. I assumed the person(s) didn't want them.

Thennnn, after the top 8 was finished they all came running out throwing cards about I found a sleeved Airknight Parshath (UR) on the ground. I just plain was looking for that, since I had been trading for those that day as well.

So in addition I got: Airknight Parshath(TP6 R) Airknight Parshath (DB1 S) and Airknight Parshath (LOD UR)

:D I'm making my new soul control, with frogs now. It's going to own.

For every "one" responsible person, there are probably 3 delinquents who have nothing better to do than to try to rip people off.

There are usually all kinds of cards left over after a Tournament. I cant say that there is anything noble about trying to track someone down because its sort of difficult to get an honest answer from someone when you ask, "Does anyone belong to this Cyber End Dragon I found?"

Well, I helped judge both days of the preivews in Detroit and the regional on Sunday, so I got a few packs.

2 Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder
2 Ancient Gear Castle
2 Ruin, Queen of Oblivion
2 Damage Condenser
1 Divine Dragon - Excelion
1 B.E.S. Covered Core
1 Cyber Barrier Dragon
1 ULT Proto-Cyber Dragon
1 ULT Cyclone Boomerang
1 ULT Goblin out of the Frying Pan
3 Treeborn Frog

Overall, I think it was a good haul. I think I might try Damage Condenser in my deck for fun, see how that works out.

I just bought a pack of SOI...

The first card I see is Hamon. Man was I pumped. the cards look interesting. I'm a big fan of Memory Crusher.

So far here's what I pulled:

Uria, Lord of Searing Flames (UR)
2x Ruin, Queen of Oblivion (SR, Ult)
Treeborn Frog (R)
Option Hunter (R)
Ancient Gear Castle (SR)
2x Doom Dozer (R)
Divine Dragon - Excelion (SR)
Goblin out of the Frying Pan (R)
Damage Condenser (SR)
Cyclone Boomerang (R)
Chainsaw Insect (R)
Adhesive Explosive (R)
Memory Crusher (R)

Sand Moth looks interesting.... and might try out the Hero Kids with Miracle Kids in the hero deck and see how it goes. If nothing else good trib fodder for Elemental Hero Bladedge
