Head Judge Harassing Player?
from UDE's Player Management Forums
I have a friend who was at a Californian Regionals. Julia was there according to reports, who should be able to confirm the situation.
As you can read, the Judges kept having Deck Checks formed on him, 2, and then out of nowhere they checked him again and called him for having a 'bent' plastic, in the side deck.
THE SIDE DECK.
Now, as far as I'm concerned, the status of the side deck plastics is of no concern. Reason: You don't even NEED plastics in the side deck. There was no proof he even main decked the card (CCV).
So I want to know: is this considered player Harassment?

Good day, ladies and gentlemen. For the first time in the fours years that I have played this game competitively, I had finally obtained a top 8 space. However, this was soon taken away from me for a ludicrous reason, as I am about to explain. Through out the day, I had two random deck checks, and the judges saw no problem with my sleeves (which were new but showing the fact that they had been played). If I had the opportunity to purchase new sleeves at the start of the tournament, I would have. However, no one was selling them. After seven rounds, I had gone 5-2 and had great tie breakers (I'll post match details later). The head judge read off each name, and everyone in the room rejoiced when my name was read last. Before my match however, I was called up and told that my sleeves were covered in wear & tear, and that there was one card in particular in my side deck that he claimed to be marked. I narrowed down the possibilities and I knew right there and then what was about to happen. He flipped up the Crush Card Virus in my side, and told me that I was being disqualified. He gave me a form to fill out, to determine whether or not I can compete in another UDE event for a given period of time, and asked for the sleeve. I had to comply. Everyone around me seemed outraged, when I was just devastated. So here I am, before you now, a man who was robbed of what was rightfully his. Within the hour, I will be posting a link to a petition to ensure that I can continue playing this game, and would appreciate it if anyone reading this will sign it.
