How do you DQ A person from a turney

I need to know what all I need to do to DQ a person from a turney I am holding
I been haveing problems with a Player and i had a long talk and every thing with him Last night he came over and told me I was not alowed to DQ him from the turneys becouse his family is friends with the owner of the store and they have money and every thing
I told him I was not afriend of his family and if it came down to it I would DQ him for cheating and We will stop holding the turneys there and find a new place
But i never DQ a player from a turney before how do i go about doing it and every thing so I will know if I need to
