players attempting restart of duels
from UDE's Player Management Forums

Hello Fellow Judges,
I have, over the past several weeks, have noticed a couple of players at my local, and who have there national passes, intentionally trying to cause restarts to their duels when they get into situations where they are starting to lose. It's only two players at this time and it seems that they are actually practicing. I caught onto this when a final between one of these young men and his dad was not working out for him. I simply at this time warned him to stop the intential attempts and to continue play, which of course caused more issues. I didn't know where to turn and really scared that their attempts will continue into the national levels. The young man playing his dad was forbidden by dad to play at the locals. I thought about the DQ options but the young man has a violent streak and I do not want to take the chance of a face off outside the tournement realm. TO has spoken to the dad and has control of him on the site, but outside is another story. Any recommendations?
The attempts would be for example having two out of play piles and would play return from different dimension and intionally leave out one of the piles, then coming back and stating he forgot some cards.
Another example would be carrying on about a face card he wanted a ruling on and his friend spectating would say what the face down card was. He would demand that it be restarted.
I could carry on a long thread but these are a couple of examples, and both players have been attempting a lot, the only thing is I caught onto it and have instructed them to continue play.
Sorry for posting this in another area and was corrected to post here.
Thanks.
