Reporting Players who steal
from UDE's Player Management Forums
I actually have 2 questions and 2 different situations that happened the same weekend. The first is we had a guy that was banned from our store for theft a few weeks ago. He would come and play but never in a sanctioned Tournament. He says he doesn't play in our tournament because he doesn't want to mess up his standings but he does go to Regionals to play. Is there any way for us to report him to UDE for Stealing? If he's stealing here, he's most likely stealing at other places and possibly regionals. We banned him but would like to report him to UDE.
The second situation is we had a guy steal a playmat from another player. After searching his bag we found the playmat as well as drugs in his bag and had to call the police. This guy plays in sanctioned tournament and his court date is Feb 5, 2008 Is there any way for us to report him to UDE for stealing without a Judge's signature? We had to fire the judge after that incident because he found the playmat and then turned around and said he didn't see it in his bag. The police was called so they did find the playmat in his bag. The judge is friends with the Yugioh Player. The kid whose playmat it was stolen from doesn't want to report it to UDE and he doesn't really want to go to court because he's afraid of getting blacklisted by the other kids. I think this is serious because if he steals from other Yugioh Kids here, he will probably do it at other places. I want to keep the game Honest and I want to be able to protect the younger players so they don't feel scared. I wasn't a Tournament Organizer, an assistant judge and I was not at the store when it happened. Is there a way to report the player to UDE?
