Running a Local Tournament?
from UDE's Player Management Forums
A local card shop nearby stopped running yugioh tournaments a few months ago (due to player misconduct and a bad judge) and I got player management and TO cert (lvl 1) as well as yugioh judge (lvl 1) and so far i've judged 2 events-
Now I was thinking after I judge a few more and get more experience that I could ask to start up their tournament again, but I have no clue as to the first thing about running a Local event by myself. (all i know is that people usually charge $5 to get in and use MANTIS or something for brackets)
Can anyone give help/suggestions as to how to run a local tournament as well as product prizes, etc.?
