sangan and miss abuse ?

ok i poped off my sangan for destriny hero dasher ( went to search )
hade no more targets
so i keep on going on with my move ( while shuffling my deck )
and my opponet 2/3 turns later ask me what did i get off sangan ( wandering because i never showed him nothing )
but i said i din't rember at that moment
i am wandering can i get any warnings .\/ pena;tys 4 this misshapp
