Quidam is a 3D rendering program thats being touted as a good entry level and pro program that differes from it's couterparts.
Dogwaffle claims to be a way to "paint" artwork without the mess, along with having a complete free version and a pay version that just has more stuff.
Now I'm looking into both of these and haven't really read all the info on them. But I know we have a few knowledgable artists around here, and I was wondering if anyone had the 411 on these things. What do they do that Photoshop 7.0 cannot? What do they do that DAZ|Studio cannot? And will they benefit someone like me who oesn't have a lot of money, and limited computer power?
