Probably the three key cards in this deck are Golem Sentry and
Megarock Dragon. Golem Sentry can give an opponent fits sending their monsters back to their hand as can Guardian Sphinx. The obvious drawback is Nobleman Of Crossout, that's what the pair of Spell Shield Type-8 are for along with avoiding having either of them Snatch Stolen and then flipped face down.
Obviously this deck has strong def. monsters, I'm taking advantage of that with Roblin Goblin, Fairy Box, and Canyon making my opponent leery about attacking, then setting MOF or Mask Of Darkness and using Tsukuyomi to reclaim their effects.
Morphing Jar may at first look like an odd selections but remember I'm trying to put Rock monsters in my graveyard for Megarock Dragon and then the big punch hopefully with RfDD.
Solemn Wishes keeps my lp up until I can make my move and helps to pay for Fairy Box. Most people don't see Solemn Wishes as a threat...and it's not a threat, most players won't waste a piece of S/T removal on it until there is at least one other S/T on the field. It can make a big difference though and once Fairy Box and Solemn Wishes are up it's a fun combo. Then we have Spell Shield Type-8 to help protect them.
If my opponent decides to play a waiting game chances are I'm going to come out on top, this is where Maharaghi comes in handy to help me get to what I need at the time, I can also use Maharaghi or Tsukuyomi with Creature Swap to take my opponent's monster and return my Spirit Monster to my hand at the end of the turn.
The three copies of Giant Rat are able to special summon a wide variety of monsters from this deck including of course another Giant Rat, Enraged Muka-Muka, Golemn Sentry, Exiled Force, Moia Interceptor Cannon, Morphing Jar (then summon Tsukuyomi) Criosphinx, or Stone Statue Of The Aztecs. If sided it Giant Rat could special summon Injection Fairy Lilly, Sand Moth, Medusa Worm, or Labyrinth Wall.
Other than the previously mentioned monsters the Side deck gives options for using Shield & Sword combined with Waboku as well as siding in potential to abuse Tsukuyomi with Mask Of Darkness and Drop Off. Rock Bombardment is an option to put a Guardian Sphinx in the graveyard to be recovered with Premature, CoTH, or Grave Of Enkindling.
It's a fun deck and not something people are used to running into. This deck isn't perfect by any means and Mystic Swordsman LV2 could give it fits, I should likely side Chain Disappearance to combat that.
Any and all comments are welcome of course! I've only played this deck a couple of times....really enjoyed it though as it's a different type of deck than most people are accustomed to.
