sticky situation
remove target spider-friends defender you control from this attack.(when an attack concludes if there is no defender, all attackers ready)

ok my question is, how does this effect work? because the text on this pot twist is confusing????

Quite simply, when your opponent attacks one of your Spider-Friends characters, Sticky Situation removes that character from the attack. When ever a character is "removed from an attack" unless the effect specifically says otherwise then whoever the attacker(s) is will ready, as there is no longer an attack target. This would also be true of cards that remove a defending character from the field, since the defender has been "removed from the attack" the attackers have no target for this attack and they can re-ready.

Now what your probably wondering is what good is it if the attackers can just attack again?

Well imagine your opponent's character is attacking your Spider Man. He's just put a Savage Beatdown on the character, powered him up with two discards and a Savage Land and put a Blindsided on your Friend. Not only is poor Spidey gonna stun but your gonna take a smack-upside-the-head's worth of break through damage.

But then you play Sticky Situation and remove Spidey from this attack. Your opponent blinks in bewilderment for a minute or two, until he realizes that he just burned a Beatdown, a Blindsided and two characters cards. Sure his character re-readies but he's back to his origial attack. I guess you could say Sticky Situation is "Beatdown Burner." But you get the basic application? :D
