Just Wondering. Does The Fusion Material Monster Have To Be On The Field For The Second Effect To Activate? The Wording Is A Wee Bit Confusing. Can Someone Please Clarify. TY In Advanced

If you use the Hex monsters as fusion substitutes for "Polymerization" or "Fusion Gate", you can use them from their hand. Only if you use the effect to offer it and the other Fusion material monster to special summon the fusion without "Polymerization" or "Fusion Gate" then it must everything must be on the field.
