I had a rather large list typed up and I didn't save it anywhere else. Any hope that its archived somewhere and can be restored?

Not likely, my stupid tail accidentally deleted the board when I was transferring over everything with the move to the new City of Gamers. A mistake like that is bound to happen when I'm sitting down crunching numbers and trying to get everything to fit in place perfectly in a brand new community, and not to mention a million new boards added in along with it.
More or less... my bad I guess. Someone made mention to me not too long after the change that the board was missing, I had thought I had placed it in the VS System section, but obviously when I was changing my mind over a few things I had accidentally deleted it when I deleted a directory I was going to use. Which meant that the board was gone and unrecoverable (unless we loaded an entire back up of the forums, I don't know if we have such a back up and such a back up would hurt us in the long run since it would have to be one from the igforums.com set up, which would require me to recreate this again...)
Anyways, when someone brought that to my attention I simply re-created the board and hoped no one had a list they didn't have backed up.

*sigh* That's okay. I thought I had backed it up. But cannot find it. I'm going to search my hidden files. Pretty sure Word made a back up in that folder (if its legible). Any chance at a new trade forum.?

Edit: Yeah, check under The Daily Bugle section of the VS part of the forums and you'll see "Yancy Street Trading" or something like that sitting there.

Actually, not really feasible. Our dev board is running a different version of vBulletin and in the process of work on the 2.0 version of the forums now.
Yes, I too lost a thread in there and just thought I was going senile.
But it wasn't more than an hour of work to recreate what I was missing up through Avengers. Now that I don't have to catalogue my YGO cards anymore ... LOL ... I can focus on my VS collection a bit more.
