Ok I was playing ygo 7ttog and I thought hey let's have a laugh and look up nekogal #1 and when i look at her flavor text it's different! instead of reading a pussy fiary. it reads extremely cute.
 
When I was little, there was a very popular song sung by Johnny Mathis and and another woman who's name I forget. But the song title sometimes comes to mind when I see a change like this made and I question: why now? The song was called "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" :D
 
They should've left her as is - there would be so much less DISCUSSION about her, that she wouldn't be considered as perverted. What was that, again, about "clawing on her enemies" or something? :)

Not to mention that her artwork has also been edited from near-nudity to less-than-near-nudity. If that means anything, of course. But really, what was/were [flavor text writer(s)] thinking?
 
We'll from wI've observed, the translator on the Flavor Text of Normal Monsters is similar to the translators of most Anime subtitles. The One Peice DVD tranlates Isop's name as Bu, Buu, Liar Boo, Theif Boo, Theif Buu, and Frank. Okay that last one wasn't true but you get the idea.
 
So you're saying that the meaning was 100% lost in translation? Like when they translated "Enchilada" into "flavorless junk from Taco Bell" ?

Hehehe. Anyone ever see the Saturday Night Live skit with the Mexico born Mexican working at a Taco Bell and how indignant he gets when people innocently order a Chalupa? :D My dad is Mexican and he can't even tell me what a Chalupa is. Now when they first introduced the Gordita we 'bout died laughing. A gordita is how you would refer to a Fat Girl in a not so nice way. I don't know what Taco Bell execs where thinking on that one.
