can cards like zero gravity and curse of anubis be activated in response to mirror force?

example player A has three face up monsters and declares an attack on player B.
player be responds by activating mirror force
player A responds with zero gravity

I would understand the chain to resolve
zero gravity >> mirror force >> end chain no monsters destroyed

correct?
same scenario with curse of anubis.

also could a second chain be started after the above chain resolves with player A activating a second zero gravity allowing monsters that have not declared an attack to continue the battle phase?

Correct for both. On CoA, only Effect monster will be changed to Defense Position.
