Magical Thorn This is a great card, fun to play especially in a discard deck, which I run. I need to point out quickly that everyone needs to remember that the damage effect only comes into play when your opponent discards from his hand. Needle Worm won't do it. MJ#2 won't do it. Too bad they...

Yup. It's really good in non-FTK decks. I'm a big fan of 1 or 2 last wills, > Giant Rat, suicide it bring out command knights, etc. I gets ugly real quick. Good Stuff. Nice Article. Jeff

Torx, that is an excellent point. It's quite the "Gotcha" so to speak. However, for terminologies' sake, remember that attacking is not a chainable event, rather you "activate is response to" an attack. Jeff

BBTD is good, Trap Jammer, 7 tools, Solemn Judgment, and Royal Decree, These are counters that come to mind right now, as well as Book of moon, Interdimensional, compulsory, etc. (removed incorrect statement, thanks Matt) Jeff

If you don't at least sidedeck it against burn, you could be hurting. You can have a real productive turn while chain energy's on the field with that card.
