Restricted for a reason. Your opponent has two options when it hits the field: Attack it, and eat at least 1700 damage, or don't attack it, and leave a machine monster on the field. Either way, you're one step closer to victory. Literally. What do I mean? Either you'll only need about 2 machines...

If you think about it... it doesn't really do much that a standard equipment card can do. An Axe of Despair or Mage Power (or United we Stand in Traditional) are faster cards that will probably have about the same result. In fact... they'll do better than Metalmorph if you're attacking directly...

Lots of combos with this card. You can sac Sinister or Night Assailant for a "free" Relinquished. You can suck up a monster, then get rid of it through Emergency Provisions for some LP, then suck up a new one next turn. Or you can suck up a monster, then sacrifice the Relinquished to...

djp952, you know I was going to say the exact same thing. But then something hit me... if this guy is so rich that he can do this, he probably has a lot more money left over. For all we know, he could be making 300K donations every year to charities. Also consider that the winner of this money...

It's a support card, not a main strategy. It doesn't cost your deck anything, so you can put it in no problem. About the only time you'll use it is when you can clean the field with it and win the duel. All other times, you're better off just keeping your pieces, which have higher total attack...

It also doesn't have to be Fusilier Dragon. It could be Cannon Soldier, Y Head, Z Tank... any machine you can get to 500 or under.

Um... wow... I was under the impression that the same restrictions applied to the targetted monster were applied to the summoned monsters as well. Yet another combo for my machine deck...
