Exactly. Its so boring to go to a site where all they talk about is CC...every deck you post gets a Mobius, Smashing Ground, and Sak Armor added...and no one understands the more complex decks. Basically, I get the aura of, "who cares about those other cards, bash them with what everyone else...

I did, you can't use them. Soul Exchange allows you to tribute a monster on your opponent's side of the field, and its still considered on their side. Meaning cards that specify "on your side of the field" won't work. And thanks for the clarification Neil =) Finally, you might want to try...

I don't think I'll be able to answer all of these as well as some others might on here, but here goes a shot. Edit: Hmm...*after looking up stuff on Metamorphosis and Soul Exchange with more time* I dunno...^_^ Why can't you tribute a face-down on your opponent's side with Metamorphosis...

Right, the card doesn't require you to have a monster on the field. And like soulwarrior used in the example, it doesn't need to be for a Tribute summon either.

Because everyone is looking for a definite place. Yes, its going to the graveyard, but like masterwoo0 said, from where? If its not from the field, or hand, and can't be from anywhere else, where is it considered placed until it does hit the graveyard??

Maybe I adhere too much to reason, and being so avoid those "plays" you speak of. Although the similarity between winning decks bores me too. But I do know at least two other people who will pull a move...simply to pull that move, to have...finesse
