    PC Atlanta

Yeah, you'll have a blast judging. I'll be there playing for sure so I hope to see you there. Hopefully you'll see me sitting in the top 8 on Sunday, I'm more than sure that if I make day 2 I'll either place high in the standings or make top 8. Yep I'm that good at JLA draft, lol. But...

    G-Loc hate

Run the old school Rigged Elections deck. Basically forget the MK and JLI. Just go with GK/FF/AI. Basically what you're looking for is to team up and as early as turn 5 flip up Rigged Elections (turn 5 you can team up by using Ventriloquist for example), drop Alfred (after using him if he...

    Stupid Circus

Blah, it's still a very beatable deck in the end. But I guess we're lucky that the Hobby League I run out this way doesn't even have the same deck represented more than twice. Around 15 or so players and they're all playing something of their own (with the exceptions of a few things). If...

    G-Loc hate

It's pretty much a GLEE stall deck. Decks like Chicken Squad tend to hate it alot and if you hit some Reigns with New School on 4 then it tends to have a good match up as well. Injustice Gang can slow it down in a good build and burn the opponent before Mogo comes out on 8 but you lack...

    My Way

DJ, I look forward to meeting you there. I'll be working the floor for the YGO event, I'm sure they'll introduce me as part of the staff when the YGO regional starts so just listen out for my name and me waving my hand... but I'm not that hard to miss. Just look for a guy with a goatee and...

Griggle and Ameba + Creature Swap and Shien's Spy= FUN!

One thing that I think might need mention is that YGO is a game where tricky and complex combos don't really pay off in the end. With the game as quick paced as it is, setting up and going off on a complex combo that requires more than 4 cards is extremely hard, and in most cases if you don't...

Jan. 8th, 2006 Lexington, Kentucky Regional Event

Yeah, it'd be nice to see you and hang out again. I'm pretty much a shoe-in to at least be at the Shonen Jump in Durham since it's only an hour drive for me. We're having a judge meeting that Friday night prior to the event at the hotel (most likely in one of the rooms) so I'll at least be...

They are completly opposite affiliations... what happens when they play each other?

It's tough to say one screws over the other. You have to take builds into consideration first. I'm assuming you mean Chicken Squad, if that's the case. Chicken Squad has the upper hand against a mono IG deck. Sure, Lex makes things trickier. But if chances are if it's a mono IG build...

    The New Brotherhood

Looks like a pretty standard TNB build. Should do well in a tournament, of course, you'll have problems with other rush/control decks such as New School. Definitely not the deck it used to be, but it's still a good surprise to run into from time to time.

Jan. 8th, 2006 Lexington, Kentucky Regional Event

I could give you some information on Star City events (like this one), but not even I get more information as a Star City judge. I won't be attending the Kentucky events this time (I did in April this year, head judging 1 regional and FJ VS the next), but if you're curious why I'm not going...

Where Should the next Yu-Gi-Oh! World Tournament held!

I can see it happening in Europe next year, probably Germany or The Netherlands. I'd love an excuse to go back to Germany, so I'm pulling for that, lol.

    Error on the GX Show.

This is pretty much like the YGO The Movie mistake. You can imagine the audience in our theater on opening night when we went to watch it. LoL, we were all over that one.

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

The next PCQ is in Durham next month. There'll be another 10K in Charlotte next July as well.

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

Yep, it's fishy all right. It's callled the fact that at least 75% of the UDE R&D team played or judged Magic at some point in their life. Funny enough, the same thing can almost be said about the UDE execs. when you look at people like Charsky and what not.

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

Yeah we played and I've met him before. I judged the PCQ's on day 2 of the 10K/SJC at HeroesCon in June this year and was judging the PCQ that he split in the finals at. We played in the sealed this past weekend and then both ended up in the finals and we decided to split. He's a pretty cool...

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

Yeah, Wil's one of the best out there. He definitely proved that when he took 11th at Nats earlier this year as well. I was surprised I couldn't find you, lol. I remember walking up to Don and asking "Have you seen John?" And when he said "No." My immediate answer was "Well, it'd be hard...

3 teams off curve and no one can touch me

But easily stunnable to allow a Flame Trap afterwards. You're not gonna find a good way around Flame Trap unless you're able to fit in Gotham and run Fizzle.

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

Seriously... if there are this many North Carolinians on the forum here, we need to have a get together or something, or at least let each other know if we're going to be at an event and meet up... The only people I saw was Don and Andrew... I had no idea anyone else was coming (well except...

    New Netrep site look

I'm just surprised that everyone here seems so hard up on graphically enhanced websites. 1. Graphics aren't everything, and there is such thing as way too much. It clutters things up and makes everything look too unprofessional. 2. The content is what matters most in a website, not it's...

Well, I went to the Greensboro Regionals, Dec. 11th

I was there, I figured you'd see me and walk up to me, I wasn't hard to find (since I paced the floor a lot looking for people I knew). I ended up making the finals in the sealed PCQ and we decided to split. I'm such a better sealed player now then constructed, I've gotta find something that...
