    a few simple qustions

Hello FATHER-O-FIENDS. However, the Turn Player can activate his "Raigeki Break" in any of his/her phase (Draw Phase, Standby Phase, MP1, etc... except Damage Step). This is because "Raigeki Break" does not have any activation requirement, so the Turn Player does not have to respond to...

    Stumbling & Tragedy

Wouldn't the Turn Player have the chance to chain "Divine Wrath" on "Mysterious Puppeteer"'s effect? Or is this another loop hole?

    New Functionality

I just have a question. Since the common words (like questions and toll) are excluded already, then why not leave the Auto-linking as default. I think most of the problem is solved already by excluding common words. If the Auto-linking is set as default, people does not have to go to Advance...

    How to defeat TerrorKing Archfiend?

These cards are non-targeting cards, so you can use them to kill TK AF.

OK. Mental note, "affect" is "effect". Got it.

    What if they remade....

Here is one: Switch Side Spell/Continuous Each time you and/or your opponent has an increase or decrease in Life Points, Exchange your current Life Points with your opponent's current ones. This Effect is not chainable. This will definitely change the strategy of dueling. Just...

Chaining to continuous effects (or not being able to).

I have the same problem myself. Novastar seems to have a good grip on Text Templating in YGO, but there are still exceptions. The rule of thumb is, if the FAQ or "Judge's List" says it's chainable, then it is not a Continuous Effect. I'm still waiting on Novastar's article about...

    another plain questions{just 1#

You can use the Card Registry or Ronin to do the searching. Look for card text that has "unaffected by" and "Trap card" and look at the list. This tool will be your best-friend when looking for rules and a particular card.

    another plain questions{just 1#

In general, if "Non-Spellcasting Area" is active, all face-up Non-Effect Monsters on the field are not affected by Spell Cards. This is why "Metamorphosis" can not be used on them.

    another plain questions{just 1#

You can't use Non-Effect Monsters as a target for "Metamorphosis" and other Spell Cards. EDIT: However, Non-Effect Monsters in your hand is not affected by "Non-Spellcasting Area", so they can be used in "Polymerization".

    plain Q@A....{is anybody awake?}

Your opponent's Non-Effect Monsters will be able to change their battle position since they are also affected by "Non-Spellcasting Area".

Rules And Regulations For Team Duelist

The info found here may help you. This rule only apply to IG events, and may be changed without notice. There is no "Official Team Rule" from Konami and UDE, but side events can create their own rule.

    Stumbling & Tragedy

I stand corrected. I miss applied Time Stamp. It's FIFO (First in First out). The oldest one first, down to the newest one. I even wrote it in my Monster's Effects article. Shame on me :( .

    Stumbling & Tragedy

In addition, "Spell Canceller" and "Level Limit - Area B" are both continuous effect, so time stamp is used here. Since "Spell Canceller" is the most recent continuous effect activated, it will resolve first. Then "Level Limit - Area B" will be next, but it will already be negated.

    Brain Jacker--What A Day!!

Why not. You can equip "Relinquish" or TER with "Axe of Despair" or "Snatch Steal" even it has a monster equiped to it.

Swords of concealing light Vs Light of intervention

I think the difference between "Book of Moon" and "Swords of Concealing Light" is that BoM is targeting and SoCL is not. This is why SoCL is still valid for activation.

Swords of concealing light Vs Light of intervention

Here is a shortcut ruling: "Swords of Concealing Light" When this card resolves, put all monsters on your opponent's side of the field in defense position. In addition, flip all monsters in your opponent's side face-down if it is allowed. (Tokens are not alowed and when "Light of Intervention"...

Horn of Heaven Vs Monster Reborn, etc.

I understard your fustration. I wish they would respond quicker to a Question (Konami and UDE). This rule was made to indicate that even if Phoenix's did not reach the field and was destroyed, his effect of special summoning its self will trigger because she was destroyed by a card effect...

    Couple Questions?

    1. It won't negate the attack, but the monster will switch to defense mode, so it won't be able to complete its attack. If "Final Attack Order" is active, then the monster will switch to defense mode, then back to attack mode, and the attack will go through. This is why the attack is not...
