The only thing you have incorrect is saying that cards are destroyed when negated. The negation effect of "LaDD" does not destroy anything. It only negates.

    Card Trader vs Dust Tornado

The example they use is meaningless... It tells you in plain English what happens, and it doesn't make any distinction between what type of Continuous card is destroyed... I don't see how it can get any more clear than that.

    Card Trader vs Dust Tornado

You are correct. Adding the card back to your deck is a cost to activate "Card Trader's" effect. If "Card Trader" is removed from the field before it resolves, then it's effect will not resolve. This is standard rules for Continuous Spells/Traps. Advanced Gameplay FAQ - "Negate" vs...

    Light and darkness dragon

Actually, it does. Because it's Mandatory, and because its Negating Effect is Spell Speed 2, it will break the rules of chaining. If you control "LaDD" and if you are foolish enough to activate an effect, instead of Priority being automatically passed to your opponent due to the rules of...

    Light and darkness dragon

Just so everyone knows, this is indeed the very first Mandatory Multi-Triggered Effect. Yes, it is Spell Speed 2. No it cannot do anything against Counter Traps. No, it can't do anything against already active Continuous Spell and Trap Effects (truly continuous ones). No, it can't do anything...

    Ojama Knight's Effect

"Ojama Knight" is a miniature version of "Ojama King". All rulings applicable to "Ojama King" apply to "Ojama Knight".

    Shifting Targets

Here's a 'kink' in the works... I attack. You activate "Sakuretsu Armor" targeting my attacking monster. I chain with "Desert Sunlight". No more chains. Resolve chain... My monsters are switched to Defense Position by "Desert Sunlight". Will my monster be destroyed by "Sakuretsu Armor"? Yes...

    Shifting Targets

I'm guessing nobody realizes that "Shift" and "Patrician of Darkness" do not work the same way... Why are they different? Why does "Ancient Lamp" work? It's quite simple. They target. "Patrician of Darkness" does not. I know that doesn't really have anything to do with the current question...

    Some timing questions

The reason why "Thestalos" doesn't target is because, to my knowledge, you cannot target any cards in the Hand.

    Some timing questions

Machinefreak's answer is correct. The effect of "Sangan" will be link 1 of the chain, always, followed by the effect of "Thestalos". You do not choose which card to discard with "Thestalos'" effect until it resolves. By that time, it's way too late for your opponent to chain with "PWWB". So...

    Shifting Targets

Seeing as how you can change the attack target to a "Command Knight" when you have another monster on the field, I'd have to say you could switch the target to a face-down monster, and then the effect of "Brain Control" would simply disappear since it can't control a face-down monster. It would...

    Transmigration Prophecy

That is not possible because the cost to Special Summon "Gigantes" is to remove that Earth monster from play. By the time your opponent ever gets the chance to respond to your Summon, that Earth monster has already been removed from the Graveyard. This is why you need to make sure you play the...
